Agreed. Keeping Manny would be a complete disaster at this point. The AD hire is a cluster****. Everything is a complete embarrassment. Not sure how we come back from this if we **** this up.

This actually does make sense from Turnkey's position. A search firm is not going to be tied to a guy (Jurich) that has a past like his. I've been a part of several search firms in the past when helping other churches with finding pastors/leaders. Search firms typically stay clear from candidates with a checkered history. If Turnkey recommends Jurich to Miami, and Miami hires him, but then Jurich's tenure as AD is problematic, Turnkey's credibility and reputation will suffer. It sucks, but for Turnkey's sake, they have to do this.
 
Jurich with this large of a target on his back is really bad all around. Bad optics hiring him, which may lead him to being conservative in his decision making, or not hiring him at all.

We don't have any idea as to what is actually going on. D$'s tweet could be 100% true, it could be a smokescreen, it could be a nothing burger.

I personally feel too many people are taking this tweet and acting as if it guarantees the worst case scenario is going to play out.

I'm not saying I expect this to work out well and we will have Jurich and a top tier coach before next week is over, given this school the opposite is more likely, but we already know the different BoT factions are using leaks and the media as weapons of war.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if what D$ was told isn't all true and isn't just another leak for misdirection or what have you.

Again, it's too unfortunate the insiders were ran off when they were. All that said, my point is I'm not going to get worked up over this or the 24/7 post because I already know the majority of stuff reported on with regards to this program is false and pushed to help out certain people and their agendas.

You're exactly right. A search firm that specializes in executive hires is NOT going to recommend a man with Yurich's past. Their reputation is on the line. But, that is a good thing because since their reputation is on the line, they are going to recommend a great AD. There are more qualified candidates than just Yurich.

What it says to me is Manny Sr is still pulling the strings…he must have some nasty sHT against some if these BOT members…Things like back room business deals when he was in office that could send some to prison cause if not what else could continue to push these prominent people to do his bidding…
