You guys are allowing yourselves to get too worked up. I'll allow myself to get upset once something happens that I don't like. I'm not going to waste my energy getting mad at the idea of what could happen.

Too bad we had a few bad apples run off some of our legit insiders so we could hear what's actually happening.

Yep. It's pretty hysterical around here. And I don't mean funny.

[Unsubstantiated rumor mill source] says X. Board goes wild cause they like it.

[Unsubstantiated rumor mill source 2] says X isn't true. Board assumes it's credible, even though they just experienced being misdirected by the rumor mill.

Rinse and repeat x100, grown men eat up everything they are fed like fools. And some of you guys wonder why I post the banana in the tailpipe gif so much.

Don't believe anything. Don't assume anything positive or negative. Sit back, relax, and let it play out.

The only two things that we KNOW are:

1- Frenk fired Blake James. Digest that. Our #1 wish came to fruition. ENJOY it. A MASSIVE and important change happened we were all desperate for.

2- Both the President of the U and a number of billionaire boosters have publicly stated that never-before-heard-of resources will be dedicated to bringing the championships back to the U.

That's IT. Just those two things. And they are GREAT. No one knows anything else to be true. Let it play out. Cause you guys are getting WORKED.

Open NCAA investigation and FBI? I think that's a big problem, don't you?

Not really. Jurich isn't being investigated by either body. The initial NOA came out in 2020. The athletic department didn't have any charges levied against it in the original, and again in the amended NOA that came out a couple months ago, the athletic dept still is in the clear. Only the basketball program is under investigation. It may look like I'm splitting hairs but this distinction is important. The buck stops at Pitino. The school MUST be notified if the athletic dept itself is being investigated, because it totally changes the scope of how they will investigate themselves. For example, if the allegations are limited to the basketball program (as they currently are), there is no need for the AD to go pull all the records, emails, correspondence from the women's lacrosse team. If the Athletic Dept itself is being investigated, then the school will likely want to bring in a third party to avoid the appearance of impropriety. Based on all the publicly available info, Jurich is not a subject of either investigation.

Question: we fired Blake 2 weeks ago… why are we still “debating” whether we interview a guy that is not currently employees? We should past that point right now. If this is accurate where is the urgency. There needs to be a call on the HC (there only one correct one) asap and we are taking our sweet *** time?
Because that is how incompetence works . They are the definition of a **** show

If UM hasn't interviewed Jurich yet and the school may announce a new AD by this week this can't be good right?

Should we be concerned?

Unless someone rats him out? (Assuming he was complicit and knew about it). That's still a big risk, imo

Some of you guys aren’t going to make it.

There’s a real possibility that nothing is announced for a few days, maybe a couple of weeks.

I’m already seeing some frantic silly insane posting and that’s only in this thread.

I think that’s why I’m taking a break. It’s just not gonna be pleasant seeing a bunch of people sitting around playing with their own *****.

Just out of curiosity, If Mario and Lane are both a no go, then who out there is a clear upgrade over Diaz?

I’m starting to think the powers that be are looking at it this way. Something tells me you will hear some stories in the coming weeks about how Miami reached out and found out they weren’t going to get either guy.

I don’t want Diaz back, but if those two guys are off the board anybody else is an even bigger roll of the dice than normal. We’d be taking another flyer on someone.
On board with this. Think we got shot down by Mario, lane and aranda already

I would put the chances of that happening at virtually zero. The ncaa can't force people to testify under oath and there is no penalty under the law.

Let's say worst case, the ncaa substantiates the show cause of the two guys named in the NOA. They have to go work at a car wash for one or two years until the show cause period is over, then they can go back to coaching. If instead they voluntarily drop a dime on the athletic director, they will never, ever, ever work in college sports again. What coach is going to hire guys who volunteer to rat out their own program?
