2022 Joshua Conerly Jr, 5 ⭐️ OL, class of 2022 offered

“My wife’s wealth manager works with somebody connected to”… y’all, come on.

Kid might not be coming to UM but what the heck kind of reliability is that?
objection - hearsay, within hearsay, within hearsay, within hearsay

edit: wait. did we go through so many levels of hearsay that we have come back full circle to trustworthy? something to think about.

Biggest positive to getting Conerly this early for his official is we're the probably the only school that has a chance to get him to sign Wednesday.

Biggest negative is if he drags the process out a few months he'll have forgotten about his official here.

There’s no if. He won’t be signing next week - probably In April and his visit this weekend won’t change that.

Heard on Lake’s podcast that Conerly isn’t looking to sign until March when basketball is over. Apparently his team is really good this year and he’s a big part of their scoring and rebounding.

Salave'a was the main recruiter for his brother frederick at wazzu
To further the connection more, Joe's brother coached Frederick in high school.

SIAP

FREDERICK MAUIGOA

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Played for coach Okland Salave’a, the brother of former Cougar Assistant Head Coach / Defensive Line Joe Salave’a…

Looks like Mario and Joe passed on Joe's nephew (Okland's son). Will be a freshman at Colorado this year, ATH, potential QB

Whether it is Evan Neal, Anthony Lucas, George Karlaftis, Tyson Campbell, or Francis Mauigoa...every year it seems like Miami has some built in advantage with a major recruit. Hope they can win more in the future
