Doesn't matter if that's the only reason you chose. You go to a school you love and they don't pay what they said they would, you won't love that school for long.
Agreed. I'm just pointing out that even the kids who went to a school for love will sour on that sh*t if they don't get paid. Feeling like you've been lied to is real tough to get over, even if you really love the school. These kids didn’t go to TAMU b/c they loved TAMU or their “football” tradition; they went b/c of the promised pay day. It’s one thing to see high profiles kids end up at the traditional blue blood schools that’s pumping out NFL draft picks, but it’s quite another where a “business” decision was made & that other party is not holding up its end. Yeah, that’s going to wash away that love pretty quickly.
Blame the NCAA for not actually having a plan. Any more than a child kicking and screaming as he’s drug back to the kitchen table has a plan for eating his vegetables.Blame the NCAA for another half assed, loosy goosey plan that didn't work nor has plans to improve.
I blame the NCAA for not having a plan at all.Blame the NCAA for another half assed, loosy goosey plan that didn't work nor has plans to improve.
It will self correct. Just look at who's not recruiting well this cycle. Uhmm, AtM. USC's in a good position, but stalling. Maybe they lose their class if NIL isn't fixed.I blame the NCAA for not having a plan at all.
