Josh Moore - out for the season

We have said all offseason that Miami has the deepest RB, CB, & WR rooms in college football and now we are truly about to find out.

It’s more of a comment on snaps played. More snaps are more opportunities for anything to happen. In the game against Wake I envisioned, Moore isn’t even playing in the 4th Q.

I don’t know a lot of “inside information” but I do know straight from a coaches mouth the coaching staff was concerned about injuries on the field going into the game if it rained before.

Although I do think some of it comes down to dumb luck, Miami played a record number of games last season after making it all the way to the National Championship Game. That also meant having one of the shortest offseasons ever heading into 2026 season. I’m starting to wonder if the accumulated wear and tear from last season is beginning to show this year.

It’s like as the Fall Started we Started loosing Talented Players ,For whatever Reasons .Glad we Didn’t loose Jordan Lyle . A Big Season from him can maybe compensate. If We Can run the Ball Better Mensah is hard to Stop MCCoy Must be put back at Left guard .

I don't know about that but would not be surprised if it played a part. Could the high intensity practices on Greentree play a big part? I think that might be the biggest reason. The bottom line is sometimes teams just get bit by the bug and it is what it is. The U will overcome.

Any you can see the infill in patches. When it gets patchy like that it gets compacted, becomes slippery and unforgiving when you take a shoulder to it. This is mainly a maintenance issue. Lazy AF

I've always said I love this sport, especially college football, but this is the part that sucks and unlike the NFL
there is no waiver wire.

This is why I cringe when folks talk about the team and its depth during offseason.
It's fall, time to put away the college football preview magazines.
