Josh Moore and Charmar Brown - out for the season

It tough to lose Brown and Moore but if we can get healthy in the secondary and fix the o line issues without dropping a game and avoid any other major injuries to key players this team can make a run. It's football injuries happen and our depth is being tested but Lyles need to start his breakout campaign against CM. More Jacobs and Wingo probably wont be a bad thing either

Get OJ back for December (ACCCG and playoffs). Dont even care about ND. Then should also have Lucas and Antoine. Plus O’Connor and Brown. DBs are back to how we pictured it before the season. Then hopefully figure out OL. Team should be peaking at the right time.

Just can’t afford any other major injuries. Big if.

I’ve never seen anything like it

2017. Walton lost for season in Oct. AR82 was effectively hobbled the entire season and was a shell of himself due to the torn hammy. That was the #1 WR and #1 RB. And we had Malik Rosier at QB, who was, to put it kindly, not the most talented QB we’ve had at UM. It still worked out pretty well. I think the backbreaker was Herndon before the ACC championship game . He was an exceptional TE and could do everything, and a terrific safety blanket for Rosier.

We just lost the #2 RB, #3/4 WR for season and #4/5 LB for a few weeks. It’s tough but we have depth. Need to get back our DBs though. Most important thing isn’t even injury related- fix the offensive line.

I agree there is no need to have the turf and they have the resources and setup to have natural grass.

The combination of your factual inaccuracy, reliance on the TV commentators, and dismissiveness ("we need to stop this nonsense") is why you got what you got.

That field looked old and terrible. Anyone in the stadium could see that. Then you factor in the rain earlier in the day, the dirty hits and fights by Wake Forest players, and the desperation to try to make a statement by beating Miami, and it was a recipe for disaster.

First, Malachi did NOT strain himself reaching for the pass. He went down hard on his shoulder when he was tackled a couple of plays BEFORE THAT. And, yes, landing on hard artificial turf is not as easy as landing on grass. THAT is the play where Malachi got hurt, not "reaching for a pass". What a moronic claim.

It's not about "data" or "sample size". It's seeing things with your own eyes, not just believing a TV announcer who tries to tell you that Malachi Toney got hurt "stretching" for a pass.

Instead, YOU were the one who was dismissive, you claimed that NONE of the injuries had ANYTHING to do with the playing surface. You chose to speak in absolute terms with zero evidence, not me.

And while @ST26 is free to present other information, Malachi's injury was neither a dislocation or a fracture. So I'm not sure what relevance that has here. I've never said grass is perfect, I've never said there are no injuries on grass. But several of the injuries from the Wake Forest game would not have been as serious if the surface was grass.

I really enjoyed our playoff run, but I am still not happy with the natty. Won't be.

One thing I noticed, Indiana's LT is now starting for KC. He wasn't drafted or signed as an UDFA. Indiana had more talent than anyone gave them credit for. It just wasn't our year/time. Not sure this year is our year even with some elite NFL types.
