I was just about to post this. For some reason I was not feeling this guy. Not because of his talent and not sour grapes. But anyone that followed Prime for the hype I worry about them destroying our culture and chemistry. I like the options we recruited and I trust since they been here they have put proper units together since 2023.

Like I said, not downing his talent but we had some real hungry trying to prove it players come in and led us to the title game. We need more of that. Really wish Bell would have came back but I get striking while the iron is hot.

If the Oline is just solid they will put up a lot more points this year with Mensah and the upgraded WR's. Mensah is a significant upgrade over Beck and I didn't dislike Beck. Mensah is just better.

If this Oline is gonna have an issue it will be pass blocking. Cantwell will be a very good run blocker day 1. Operating in space......could be an adventure at times but they can help him by giving him a TE, chipping with the RB, etc.

Okunlola and McCoy are both capable run blockers. Rodriguez and whoever it's end up playing hte other Guard should be solid if not very good.
 
I have hated LSU with a passion since Patrick Johnson "Peterson".

What LSU is doing is why you need to win when you get to the big dance, bc any random team can just go off now.

With that said, go get the two most experienced oldest players in the portal who commit the fewest penalties per game. We just lost to a team that does exactly that.
 
Can we sue him and force him to play for Miami (but with LSU paying his NIL)? Maybe we retain Duke's lawyers.

Love what Carson did for us in the playoffs overall being a game manager but yea our offense wasn’t explosive outside of Toney making miraculous YAC plays throughout the playoffs. With Mensah and these WR & speed we’ve injected we should be much more explosive & not have to rely on the oline to wear down teams like this year. Defense will still be excellent & carry us with Hetherman + a Veteran DB group and the reloaded Dline

The team will shift from looking more like a UGA/Bama offense to a more Ole Miss vibe. But there is nothing better in football than an elite OL, and it sucks if we don't have one.

My bad if you have already addressed this, bur any chance we try to get Kinsler back? We did just save a bunch of $$ not getting this kid. I think we need him back honestly. He is a big talented kid that knows the system and would likely be one of our best 5.

It lacks the big names but Coop, Cici, Bell didn't come off the field and therefore none of the guys behind them were able to make a name.

We should add Veteran for sure and based on Mario's work ethic we'll find one.

I said it from the jump.

If he chose Deion the first time...it aligns with the type of guy he is (impressionable) ...if any of u been around Mario he is anything but that he looks just like he looks in press conference and the sidelines.

I said this kid isnt the typical OL...he thinks he is a skill position player i mean you can tell from the recruitment..Lineman arent drawing sh*t out to long were not that type of position or really have that mindset cause its an unsung position...my man stretched out all the attention he could possibly get.

LSU offense will be cooking this year in the sec based on what they have got out of the portal.
