I've been posting we needed a farm system ever since Jacurri Brown. We are not going to trust a QB backup unless our starter goes down injured. Get them real game reps on a G5 team while we're funding their NIL contract, then boomerang them back to us. It only makes sense.

Same deal with several other positions. Have to be careful because of injuries. But you can make it work with a few each season.

I work in entertainment, I’ve been joking (although maybe now we should be actually exploring) signing a couple of Development Deals. Sign Washington State, USF, etc up so that we have first and last on whoever they develop at certain positions, they get paid for everyone we take, etc etc

I’d go Wazzu and Tulane for QBs, JMU for running backs, SDSU for DL and LB, etc.

Gives those teams a revenue stream and a recruiting tool…we could place kids there the way teams used to at Prep schools and JUCOs, etc.

I just had a gummy but I see no holes in this plan, talked myself into it.

Rodriguez is probably a grown man by now, he's been here forever. At this point he definitely should be ready to start somewhere for his senior season

He was the starter game one two years ago when we went to the swamp with cam at LG… got hurt and really lost his spot

He should be working on snapping all year because that’s an open spot that I think will be perfect for him

This will be an issue for all teams. Indiana is paper thin on D. Look at their injury report. Oregon had 1 RB. Miami has 2 starting CBs that have missed most of the CFP.

Kids don’t want to sit. Teams only have so much $ to prevent kids from seeking PT.

Our best option: play better in the season so we can rotate more kids. Tough to do when most schools can find 22 kids that are p4 plays. By the end of the year, the depth starts to show.
