Jordan Miller - 3 star - Commits!!!

I just watched the film, not sure about what type of competition he plays against, but he definitely is better than a 2 Star rating.

Yep, and regardless of who is in front of him, his burst is evident.

Finally decided to get an account on here after a year or so visiting this board.

I spent all night watching Briggs and Miller’s film. I love this kids ability to move the same as Briggs even though he’s 50-60 lbs heavier. I love his upside more so than Briggs. Miller And Nesta are big and can move like they are 260 they will cause a ton of chaos in the middle of the line.

Welcome to posting.

I agree with you. Just imagine what a real S&C program can do for this guy. I can see him playing "slimmed down" at around 310 and really wrecking people.

1 Tech DT’s that take on 2 line all game never get recruiting love. But you have to have them. And like corners there is no hiding a guy with out the physical skills to play it.

Bradley Jennings played at the same school. Plays in one of the best divisions in North Florida.

Seems to like Hartley’s edit. 8C31EA60-0466-42DF-B2DB-C3952A3D0A6C.webp

Hoping we sign him, because we really need this kid. 1 Tech's don't grow on trees in Florida, and we really need another big body to spell Ford, Tito and Nesta.

Briggs would have been a very nice addition, but he needs a year of S&C before he can be counted on to do anything. Chatman can fill that void.

Something has to be up with this kid besides him not camping. Grades/credits issue perhaps that just got cleared up? No way this dude stays under the radar literally 2 weeks before signing day and BOOM! ACC and SEC schools start offering out of nowhere.

I'm in regardless.

Guarantee if Alabama or Ohio State offered him tonight, all of a sudden his rating would bump up to 4 stars and then it doesn't seem like a bad move to get him.

You know what's crazy, a lot of Miami fans worry more about a kids ranking than IF they actually can play.. I think this kid could be a steal for this class, overlooked kid who can actually play..

NOW IF we wake up tomorrow and a few more schools have offered the kid and he's showing interest, this will be the next thread "IF KUL DOESN'T CLOSE ON THIS KID, HE DOESN'T DESERVE TO BE A MIAMI" BUT just a few days ago ppl was questioning why Miami offered him!!

oh man do we want him now?

are the star whores approving or should we have kul pull the scholly?

lmao Pruitt wants him, diaz wants him, kul wants him. Whats the beef. Kid very well could turn out to be a stud, film is very impressive

muschamp wants him

This guy seems all cane man, could be another Gaynor type diamond in the rough. Plus if ghost likes his film... I do too.

my comparison of the two nose/1techs remaining our board (I also believe Silvera is good, well rounded enough to play at both tackle positions, so he may help out at nose too)

Coburn- I don't see many weaknesses. Looks strong and stout, maybe not a super freak athlete for 325, but definitely above average, not a pig. Stays low, probably because he's only 6'1...I can't imagine there are 3 or 4 better 0 or 1 tech in the country. Looks like he got rid of a little bad weight junior to senior year.

Miller- Needs upper body strength imo, gets a little high at times, more so when he seems to be tired on the play to begin with...or maybe it's standing upright that makes him look tired. Basically needs upper body strength and conditioning, can see that in his tackling, and the occasional getting stood up. More of the pear shape than Coburn who's wider in the shoulders, but this kid's legs and base are huge. Very quick off the ball and in short space, struggles a little laterally, but not a total sloth. I would say he is behind Coburn, but has upside. Raw at this stage, but a lot to like. 3*, top 30 true nose if you had to put a number on it. Needs 2 years to see the field imo, but I like the take at this stage.

Occupies space, blockers= Both
First step= Miller
Strength= Coburn
Balance/hard to move= Coburn slightly, stays lower
Agility/ Lateral Pursuit/overall athlete= Coburn
Motor= slight edge Coburn, but his film was shorter, and prob didn't show plays he took off.

Star ratings over time have been an effective way to rate kids on being college ready. Yeah maybe some 3 stars need a redshirt and 2 years to gain more skills. I am not a star ***** but I do value them. With that being said, there have been many underrated recruits who have been lowly rated and blew up in their senior year of high school or once they got to college. JJ watt, Justin fields, Nesta, gaynor, garvin the list goes on and on .

If Pruitt, Kool, and muschamp want this kid, I’m on board.
