Jordan Miller - 3 star - Commits!!!

For those who have stated concern regarding the level of competition that he played against, I can guarantee that he faced some quality football teams/players.

First of all, I live here in Jax and I can definitively attest that the football programs in the Jacksonville area, takes football very seriously. It's not like South Florida, but an argument can definitely be made that it is the second best area in the state as it relates to high school football. Need proof? Look at how much time Hartley spends in Duval. Need more proof? Norton, Shaq, Pickney, Derrick Smith, Bradley Jennings, Darrion Owens, Will Malory....you get the point!

Just last year alone, his high school faced powerhouse programs like Jacksonville Raines and Jacksonville Ribault. He also faced very solid programs like Fleming Island and Palm Coast.

This kid is an absolute take all day!

If Kool wants him then I'm all for it... all I hear is that this kid is underrated and has upside for days... we could do worse

I never understood this obsession with level of competition.
We lost to a Wisconsin team that had a bunch of midwestern kids.
If you look at the video of these kid's HS competition you will often see
that they often lined up against small, slow and often untalented competition.
You can make the same argument for many college and NFL ballers who played
against similar competition back in their day.
Bottom line, it's all about individual player athleticism, grit, determination and good
college coaching.
And let's not carried away with this soFla HS air-of-superiority as there are alot of
terribly unathletic teams in this region as well.
Not all schools are on the AH, Central, STA, MNW, SRidge, Carol City,etc level.

This was the standout from that article. The coaching down here is so ******. Testament to the talent pool that so many are able to contribute early despite not being taught anything.

And then these scum bag coaches come to us with their hand out like they did anything other than tel the kid “go out there and don’t think too much.”

The coaching is so ****** yet south florida kids walk in and start all over the country.
