Jordan Lyle - what's the story?

Seeing his snaps when he's been on the field do you really feel this thread is necessary? Who should he take snaps from?

I'd think Lyle could still take snaps from CWH.

The coaches thought process (bold below) is what I'd love to hear your thoughts on. That's what I'm trying to make sense of.

To Recap:
- Lyle doesn't look good in the first 5 games he plays

- But he's the starter in his 6th Game (Syracuse). So the coaches still think Lyle's the best RB on the team (except Fletcher), right?

- Lyle has 7 bad carries vs Syracuse - which look the same as his previous 5 games.

So in 1 week - the coaches went from "Lyle's good enough to be our starter" to "Lyle's not even good enough to get garbage time carries" (since CWH got 7 carries 1 game after Syracuse, but Lyle got 0)?

Haaaaave you watched Fletcher play RB?
Both Fletch and Lyle have terrible vision, but Fletcher can sometimes bulldoze through the defense for 3-5 yards. Lyle cannot. Fletch is also much better in pass protection and is slightly better as a receiver out of the backfield.
