Jordan Lyle - what's the story?

It might have been his 2nd or 3rd carry against ND but when he was tackled a guy rolled up on the back of his leg on the play. It happened right where I was sitting and he limped off. He has t been right since that play.

Ever since the. He’s been hurt and indecisive among with the schematic and gp not helping.

I was shocked by how Pringle lacked break away and finishing speed in the open field. Reminds me of Joe Yearby with his patience and vision. Just wish he had that top and gear.

Anyways imo Lyle has been hurt l, then he was pressing, the. Our O was ****, then he got in his own head. Needs to get healthy, get I. Shape, come back and love why he was a top 10 back

Pringle's pretty freakin fast. Much faster than Yearby was.

I agree with this. Pringle is nice, but we need elite to take that next step as a program. Some folks have mentioned how he has some 10.6 speed, and while he’s obviously not slow…he doesn’t seem to have that breakaway speed that true game breakers have…or at least hasn’t translated to the field yet. He also looks 185lbs soaking wet. Proud of the way he’s stepped into his role (especially as a freshman), but I want some 215 pound back, that can also take it to the house.

I thought it was just me. WE STILL LACK EXPLOSIVENESS IN THE RUN GAME🤬🤬🤬🤬

Why hasn't Lyle jumped in the portal? Still possible he stays? (not saying he should or that I hope he does).

Tough year for the kid, going from spring phenom and presumptive RB1 to fourth on the depth chart and no PT whatsoever on this natty run. I'm curious as to why he hasn't fled mid-playoffs like some of these other guys.

The sport is a contradiction in terms

1. These kids love Mario and they play hard for them.

2. A little adversity strikes, they’re going to the portal.

Prob because he had a big contract and that final payment isn’t until after cfp ends, and any contract next yr from us or portal will be lesss

He looked extremely engaged with his teammates last week. Doesn't look like a player about to enter the portal. Personally I think Lyle has gotten a bit of a raw deal. He came back from injury exactly when our squad started struggling and none of our RB's were doing anything. I suspect he's a lot better than it appeared. Time will tell.

Has anyone on here played football while injured? Why are you so ready to burn the boats? Samson can't make the first team so sucks, should drop him. Mesidor is always injured and looks slow out there, should drop him. Beck will never recover from injury to 2023 form, should drop him.

The kid could be a washout. But is that the logical default conclusion? He was our #1 pre-season. The simpler explanation is his injuries aren't so great he is unable to play, but are great enough he's not able to play well.

I wonder how many people b1tching about Samson et al’s injuries are the same ones saying we need to develop our own.

He got a raw deal by getting <4ypc every time he touched the ball? There’s a reason he hasn’t been playing.

I hope he stays too, but he drastically needs to work on his vision because that’s really the only thing holding him back.
