They can’t say anything if he’s repping other players and providing NIL/Services for them as well.

There‘s always gray lines when it comes to being in business but you have to walk that line if you want to be successful.

Hopefully somebody in this realm like @Hurracanes can clarify it more clearly.

I would guess a very strong possibility right?

They will have to work very hard at creating firewalls to avoid real conflicts of interest let alone rampant perception.

when you are an agent for these kids, you have to register yourself with UM Compliance. Im sure this puts into question some of his deals if HE is the agent. if he isnt, im sure **** find a number of degrees of separation so hes not involved personally with any agency rep

Exactly. I can assure you that it also came with months upon months of research and preparation as well.

The problem with conflicts of interest is that potential and "optics" is often worse than an actual conflict.

But, anyways, I presume he knows what he's doing and he'll account for this.

With that said, I do appreciate his "quiet aggression" towards the NCAA. "Come look at everything we are doing, its by YOUR BOOK. If you makes us mad, we will see you stupid fuqtards in court..."

That type of thing. Don't be passive with NCAA, hit them before they hit Miami.
 
Wait until his first big client is at UiF and that kid sits out a bowl game or takes off the remainder of a season to prepare for the NFL.

Please don’t compare this to that stool pigeon Nevin Shapiro. Shapiro was a Ponzi scheme jailbird POS, criminal, and what he contributed to the program was literally peanuts.

The simplest answer is often the right answer.

Ruiz, while clearly very capable and accomplished, has a high bar to keep perception and actual wrong doing away fron the program....


NOW....if he's calculated all the rules are going out the window in the futyre anyways...brilliant trailblazer.....
