Joe Jackson

FACTS

This is the exact problem I meant where we pump our own players. If u came here all the time to get news on our recruits we would win a championship every year.

Correct. If I could have a nickel for every time I have read about how our __ position group is amazing the past 15 years ... only to see it fall apart a couple months later.... I’d spring for a tailgate with the interest on the interest.

its crazy people keep falling for it for this long, we have proof that the players aint as good with the draft. But its the experts fault it cant be us nope it has to be that they were "overlooked"

You cant make this stuff up. Fans are mad at the nfl for sheldrick redwine not being drafted earlier. It’s a conspiracy I tell you.

Jackson should've came back. Yet he made a choice and it is what it is.

Save me the bs that some Greentree all star would've kept Jackson on the bench. Who has been more productive than him over the past 3 years?

Not saying he is a 1st or 2nd round talent, but someone is going to get a deal. The guys yet to be drafted will have to make a name for themselves and build the rep of this program back up.

honestly, i dont get the draft. there are kids who did nothing in college and got drafted based on a 40 time yet there are kids who were productive and **** and fell.
That’s why the bust rate is so how for a lot of the bad pro teams...

You could have said the same thing about Norton a year ago, and yet Willis was clearly better.

In college, there’s always some guy who is next, and often enough, he progresses to surpass the guy he played behind. Nothing remotely new about that idea.

Our DEs will be the strength of the team this year, imo. Garvin, Rousseau, Patchan, Hill and Harvey. I dont think we’d be any better if JJ were coming back.

Best WR corps in the nation.

I been saying that too, it’s on both of the coaches. We hear how our guys are so raw in terms of technique all the time especially on the dline.
I get it that coaches have to coach but kids have to WATCH FOOTBALL, watch other players, watch you tube and steal moves. At some point the horse has to drink the water he has been lead to and every now and then they have to actually work at it themselves.

The truth is Joe plateaued after his freshman year. We saw it.. Scouts saw it. Not to say he wasn't good, at times great, but he looked like he was going to be another Danny Stubbs. He never became that.

When you see all of these 305/954 players drafted early it just goes to show you how inept this university has been at keeping these kids at home. How many failed regimes can a single school endure and who is being held accountable because it sure isn’t the current AD?

I didn’t like the Manny hire but that doesn’t matter anymore. I have to get behind and support him 100% and just hope I was wrong that an experienced winning HC was the better choice .

Joe Jack was a stud his freshman year. Looked like a first round talent. But injuries and not much technique development hurt his stock.

IMO he’s a 3rd round talent that is going to be a steal for some team

Outside of Garvin and Hill. You got guys who can't stay healthy or never stepped foot in a real game.

Just because these dudes are beating up on bus boys at practice. Doesn't replace the production that Jackson actually had in real games.

This line would've been a **** of a lot better with Jackson.

Very true.

But we have a ton of emotional little girls on this site, I call them CisTards, that do their over-emotional hysterical sky-is-falling routine.

At the end of the day, people like DMoney and even Pete, have been overhyping our talent level for years. I’m an optimist, but we’re just not there yet...and haven’t been for a while.

When our talent is overhyped, then we get over-hysterical girly reactions from many of the porsters on this site

You're the queen of over-reaction.

Dudes want to act like joe a scrub now. He has been the best pass rusher on the team the last 3 years. If he sucks what does that say about the other guys?

He had a career year last year despite having a slow start.
