im not. i just felt he came on campus clearly with a gameplan of 3 and done and he never considered otherwise. i think his arm was a major issue and that affected is technique.

I guess the CIS trope is Jackson is stiff, but with his size, frame and production, if he would have popped a little more at the combine, he’d probably be gone already. No later than 3rd.

There were several “events” including the 40, he had the ability to have done better. It would have been 7 day a week, 10 hours a day...but I know for a fact he didn’t put in that work. That’s on his agent.

Yep...somehow 32 teams...hundreds of scouts....Draft gurus are all morons...but not the CIS porsters
 
Also i know we all praised coach Kul and Simpson as good teachers but i read the scouting report on both Jackson and Willis. They said Jackson has no counter moves, just relies on a bull rush. And they said Willis relies on the arm over and doesn’t show any other moves (if that was the only move he did it was pretty **** effective). So is that on Simpson or is that on the players.

I been saying that too, it’s on both of the coaches. We hear how our guys are so raw in terms of technique all the time especially on the dline.

How can you even be a fan? Was jackson better than thomas? Was willis better than norton?

Hope Manny have texted all the players to make sure they are watching...they better put the work in because nothing is guaranteed.

No disrespect to Rousseau but what has he done in college? The potential is tremendous but until he proves he can do it against an OL besides ours he's a candle to the sun, that **** don't even out!(Hov quote)
 
Jackson is a plus athlete, but the nfl is full of them. He didnt stand out at anything in particular. Not developed technically enough, not a manimal, not fluid enough, and went 3 and out so didnt stay to fully develop. Nothing surprising there. UM fans overhype most of our guys. Most fan bases do.

If you listened to this board, it’s all a conspiracy of dumb that the nfl didnt draft several of our guys in the first round. All the teams must be in on it.
