Joe Brown to transfer

He may have not been the greatest but I'm wondering how many of you retards kicking this 20 year old kid on the way out the door have ever accepted a Scholly from the U? There are a serious bunch of losers on this board.

Mostly ashholes here.

Minus the new loser trolls the board is getting better. There are still a few losers on here that try and dominate every topic with their same tired BS but it's been better. Winning cures all.

I just don't get understand celebrating Brown's departure at all. It's pretty clear that the losers doing it realize that Brown has accomplished more before the age of 19 than they will their entire lives. Ya reap what ya sow.

The people bashing this kid , calling him " bum" and other names are trash . He's somebody's son , it's so disrespectful. It's not his fault we had an idiot for a hc that gave out schollies to anyone with a pulse .

People today are real bad asses behind a computer screen

I pretty sure that HC is somebody's son too.

I think the celebration is more about the fact that the backstory says that workouts are MUCH harder, which is a really nice thing to hear. Some people take it as an opportunity to replace a roster spot of a guy who was always considered a dreaded "Golden reach". So yeah, its not cool to kick this kid when he's down but I know where it's coming from. The kid is a symbol of the Golden regime unfortunately.

Heard he is transferring because workouts are too hard.

Yea but the more I think about it... I think there were other issues... Don't think the kid really wanted to be here. The training could have been the straw to break the camels back.

absolutely agree....and to a lesser extent I kinda came to feel the same way about Golden too. The guy had good qualities as a guy and bad ones too...but at the end of the day I so blame his bosses and those who hired, re-paid and held onto a guy who was so obviously in over his head.

Shaq-daddy, you insights and opinions during the recruiting process have been great. I'm not sure you should be making negative comments about the team or coaches now that your son is on the team. It could put him in an awkward position within the locker room. You are your own man, but commenting about his teammates?
Anyway, glad to have Shaq in early

I agree... and I apologize if it appeared I was shedding negative light. I want all these kids to succeed and the point I was trying to make is the kid wasn't happy... I think he used this to make a decision he was wanting to make anyways. Again you are absolutely right.. and I take your comment as good advice...

Yeah, the hc is an adult who gets payed 2.6 million a year , sorry you can't see the difference in the two

No surprise, but thank you for the classy response. Best of luck to Shaq on and off the field.

People are really wondering why fans are "celebrating" this?

We all want to win again. Joe Brown was wasting a scholarship. Him leaving means we can use that on a player that is hopefully more talented. He can go finish his degree somewhere else. I own Miami Hurricanes gear not ******* Joe Brown apparel.

Good luck to the guy, but I'm happy he's gone. Gives us a chance to improve the roster.

I understand where the Joe Brown apologies are coming from. But it's not like Brown is some well meaning volunteer who just didn't have what it takes. Kid was on scholarship, meaning he was getting all the benefits that schollie athletes get while here. Just like letting go of an employee that ain't cutting it, i don't think it's wrong for fans to be happy that he's gone so we can use that schollie for someone else.

The new S&C coaches I heard were appalled at the physical shape and strength of many of our Ol-men.

Time to weed out the slobs. When did Brown become anything other than a bum? LOL at the low standards that led people to continue hyping this dude.

There were such low expectations for Brown that people got all excited about him because he was backing up bums like Gall. He came in to such low acclaim that people were excited when he could even walk. Get the garbage out of my fcking program!

Anyone celebrating this 20 year old kid's demise or failure or kicking him in the *** as he has to go home to his family, seriously needs to look at their own life and situation and work on their own sheeeet. You can do better than that as a human being.

The guy quit because workouts were too hard. You guys are trying too hard to out-monocle each other.

Don't think he was Miami material? Fine, still no reason to call the kid a bum. Call the coaches bums for taking the kid if you want, and no need to shed tears over his departure, but grow the f**k up and stop calling kids names. On the Internet. Where they can't beat your ***.

Someone find the thread where Paranos said he was going to be a "force" by his junior year.

I said if he continued to develop he will be a force on the dline by his junior year. The key phrase being " if he continued to develop" , so don't paraphrase out of context when you clearly lack reading comprehension. Things didn't workout for the kid so stop the piling on crap. Some of you are saying things that are uncalled for.

Go Cane

You guys have memories like elephants. How are you able to remember what dudes posted two years ago??? I can't even remember what I wrote in the same week. Must be age catching up to me

He was better than people projected. Could have provided depth on the OL but we won't miss him much. Won't bash a kid who shouldn't have been offered to begin with. Talk ish about the coaches evaluation skills, not the players. Was he supposed to turn down a scholarship to Miami? Dude came from Cali, was serviceable and inked the U on his arm, that alone warrants a best of luck from me.
