Winston is a difference maker. Jimbo's last two quarterbacks were first round draft picks and he still found a way to choke away games the last few seasons.
 
So if Kaaya or Olsen are elite talents, we'll just chalk that up to them and give our head coach no credit for finding, landing, and cultivating his talent.

Winston is also responsible for FSU's dominant top 5 defense.
 
top 5 coaches I see Gruden, Malzahn, Fisher, Jim Harbaugh, and David Shaw. I see Texas going hard after someone who has won a national championship or a super bowl.

Assuming Texas hires someone before the BCS title game, 4/5 of the names you mentioned haven't won a national title or super bowl.

Guys, we were all making fun of Jimbo the last few years for consistently underachieving. Not saying he is a bad coach, but its a lot easier to look great having Winston as your QB and playing in the ACC.

You guys really don't know what you're talking about. Winston had a great relationship with Fisher years before signing day, and committed to FSU because of Jimbo Fisher. His "lead recruiter" doesn't mean jack ****.

Strong took over a POS program and built it into a respectable program. His job was much harder's than Jimbo, so for now, he gets the nod. However, his real test will be once TB is gone.
 
so let's say jimbo does bolt. who could FSU hire for damage control on the recruitment side of the house?

they say this now, but it was rumored before he signed that Saben said no baseball. Who knows?

That's 100 percent false. Coach Saban said he could play baseball. We had a plan mapped out on how he would do that.
