The talent is absolutely there. For all the $$ Texas has ponied up, their offense is a complete **** hole. He’s def in the rotation in our backfield next year with Lyle and Pringle. He can play. Should we bring him in? No, cause **** him.

I mean Fletcher may still be here…And Marty Brown definitely will be here.

No, it’s not there. If he had any talent you would’ve seen some of it by now.

He’d be RB4 here battling with an incoming freshman (Mallory) for carries as a Junior.

What am I looking at here?

The guy runs like he’s dragging a piano in quicksand.

All of those opponents there sucked ***. And he still looked slow to the hole, thru it, and fell when someone made contact.

You could also post highlights of Thad Franklin against BCU.

Exactly; I stop going strictly by star ratings for a while. I believe in stars, don’t get me wrong, but when certain HS programs have a decided advantage b/c they r hoarding talent, I now need to examine ur comp, ur scheme, & physical traits. I’m not just talking being 6’0 & 215 running a 4.4; I’m talking the ability to break tackles, the ability to stop & go, decelerate while accelerating, vision, lateral quickness, etc.

I’ve seen way too many guys look the part, play at a program where they are The Dallas Cowboys facing The Little Giants, & when they get on campus facing other elite players, they can’t cut it. As a matter of fact, when I get some time I need to examine to success & bust ratio of the blue chip IMG players b/c there’s others coming to mind at various positions.
I agree. There were already some porsters saying that Amari Latimer looks slow. That kid looks like a grown man (PAUSE) that has great vision, power, balance, lateral quickness, and enough speed to house it after he either trucks a defender or jukes them. I’d much rather land him as our other RB, instead of a one trick pony at RB.

My boy sent me this last night and I said meh.

This **** never works out. A kid just leaves a program like Texas and goes somewhere else and balls out? In the middle of a season? Hard pass.
