No shock here.

But he will be leaving UGA and joining Bama staff while the current UGA coach is still on staff and coaching the defense at Bama.

Haha. That last sentence is kinda how SEC fans describe how their wife is also a secondary relation to them.
 
So Saban's got Smart tied up during this recruiting period coaching a bowl game at Bama while Pruitt's at Georgia watching the hen house... before he goes to Bama???

I doubt UGA will let that rat anywhere near the football team if he takes the Bama job. He'll be escorted to his office to clean it out the minute it's confirmed.

I'm surprised more of our fans didn't clamor to roll the dice on him here as freakin HC. He's exactly the kind of persona that gets some fools all tingly in the pants....except he's just Muscorch 2.0 with some added scumbaggery.

We had a few guys getting excited for him after Folden got canned. I think it died down pretty quickly though.

That is indeed a scary quote. This program is already far too soft after 5 years of Golden and his wefense.

Saban is such a cutthroat gangsta.

He knew Richt was out. He knew Smart was in. But, oooohhh.... you have contract obligations, it's sooo important that you coach the bowl games, I mean, we are competing for the national championship... Meanwhile, he's got Pruitt undercutting all the UGA recruits and Smart coaching up Bama guys instead of putting together his own pieces in Athens.

It's like watching a montage from the Godfather.

There's a reason I didn't blow my wad when Richt was hired. I'm giving him my full support, but I'm not going to pretend like I'm not concerned with some things.

Rush Propst is a legit moron. The ULTIMATE southern clown high school coach that was never able to make the step up to the next level but considers himself on par with Bear Bryant. Take whatever that multiple family having idiot says with a grain of salt as he's just a Pruitt apologist.

He's bucking for some sort of college coaching position and has been riding Pruitt's ******* in hopes that he'll bring him along.
