Here’s the good news, we have 4 (including Curtis for now) really talented guys coming in on top of a good WR class last year. The competition will work itself out and Likens will get the most out of them with a full offseason.

these 3 WRs are making more plays than they ever have in their 3-4 years here under two diff WR coaches prior to likens. you can see the immediate diff once their jobs were on the line.

Exactly, plus coach likens is a technician, if all is normal or semi normal, we'll no longer have to rely on True freshman receivers coming in unless they're actually that good!

Mike Harley Jr.: 7 catches for 73 yards
Jeremiah Payton: 6 catches for 58 yards

It's awfully early in Payton's career to write him off. But it is fair to say he has not yet shown a ton. If he is 4th WR up, it sure looks like he is still in the plans for the coaches, but just like everyone else on the roster he will have to put the work in if he wants to play. Plenty of you talent in this and next year's freshmen classes that he is gonna have to fend off to keep a job. Let the cream rise.
