Hester doesn’t compare. Carter was a much, much bigger deal in high school — an absolute legend — and went on to a much better college and pro career. He was also an incredible basketball player and one of several elite multi-sport stars coming out of Palm Beach in that era (e.g. Richard Relford).

I'm good with our young LBs and the incoming class. We have guys that can run, cover, and tackle in space. They just need to get more snaps and keep developing. Either this year or next, those young bucks become starters. Next year could be Brooks, Huff, Flagg, and Austin-Cave in the 2-deep.

He's going to be pretty good there. Might take longer than the four-star would otherwise indicate, but he's in a good place for his development. Michigan has put several of these types in the NFL recently.
