Jeff Thomas

I hear you. And for all the grief he gets on here, granted much of it deserved as far as his football performance, I don’t believe he’s been in any trouble since he left E STL.

Maybe he’s one of those people that just moves through life in cruise control. We all know people like that. They’re not a Type A’s, not going to be your super achievers, but are content to get by with less effort, or on their looks, or whatever. If that’s the worst of it, as long as he stays out of legal trouble, maybe he‘ll be just fine. Maybe he’ll have some time in the NFL, maybe he won’t. Either way I don’t wish him ill.
Yup. everybody puts all these expectations on these kids and when they don't meet them they get trashed.

Look at the difference between KJ and Thomas. Thomas looks like someone that could play at the next level, and his leadership qualities mean that someone is going to give him a shot, even if he isn't a freakish athlete. A guy willing to run through brick walls, that won't be a problem on or off the field is the kind of guy organizations love to have around. Many a player have managed to stay on rosters, and collect their pensions by being consistent contributors.
Did you just say "leadership qualities"? I'm not even joking, that's a phrase I never expected to hear about this guy. I'd love to know where you're getting your information, because I've seen nothing from him that shouts "leadership".

you are somewhat right. But these days that just how it is. With kids pumping themselves on twitter and commitment videos. There are plenty of people on this board and fans who would do anything to have the skillset of some of these kids and the opportunity. Seeing them waste their talent has to be so frustrating for fans who support theses players

No Brock. The only good move Jeff could’ve made would be to sign with @apfenny3 Management.
Thomas is with FRM and I appreciate the kind words about me but I’ll be honest, I think he’s a guy who doesn’t want to help himself and no matter who his agent is it likely won’t make too much of a difference until his attitude changes

Maybe. We may not have his football skill set, but everybody has some skill set of their own or something they are great at that they are probably not maximizing or creating an opportunity with. I guess that just comes with being in the public eye like you said.

Unbelievable to see a guy with so much talent just repeatedly waste opportunities.

Jeff Thomas is an elite WR that unfortunately went to a school with a terrible offensive system with a terrible QB then improved on that by replacing both with the worst offensive coordinator and QB of all time his last year. I think he’ll do much better in the NFL with money being the biggest motivator.

I can’t argue with these things except he didn’t even get himself in shape for the combine. That’s definitely on him.

(As an aside, I think we need the Krazy News Network (KNN) to get brockoli on his toes.).

Money was such a big motivator for jt huh?
so with all that motivation the best he ran was that?!! Osborne dame out there looking yoked and ran just as fast as he did. JT is a legit 4.4 or better guy and came unprepared imo.

Wrong. Right now he is not an elite WR.

I can’t believe he doesn’t have it in him to show up to the combine in shape given all he has riding on it and after he left school early with red flags. Was he always this way?
