Jeff Thomas & Trevon Hill

There must be serious red flags on Hill on his character. There was enough on the field for a team to take a chance on drafting him. We all know why JT didn’t get drafted.

I think it’s as simple as:

situational guy
Undersized
Not terribly fast for a situational rusher
Not hugely productive bc of #1

See if you cant spot the difference between these players:

Shaq, KJ Osborn, DJ Dallas-Drafted
JeffThomas, Trevon Hill-Undrafted

Rank them by talent level
Then rank them by who did the work 24/7/365
Then rank them by locker room leadership
Now rank them by headaches caused

Any questions left as to why things played out the way they did?

Half of the NFL is undrafted or late round picks. This was a deep WR class. JT4 probably should have stayed but at least he has a chance to make money.

An LSU/Ohio State player went in the 7th round

Let me guess those staffs did not develop them well enough and the coaching staff sucks for each of them

Can’t be that those players just weren’t that good right but when it comes to Miami any player not a first round pick is under developed by the staff

I think some of our children are watching “ BALLERS” and think it’s all like that in NFL .

Either that or they won’t wear rubbers and keep loading girls up with milk and dumping there babies on there parents or grandparents to deal with.

It’s a mystery how a player like JT4 with all his self made bad decisions witch I’m sure he was told DON’T DO IT but ignored his warnings.

Now he’s just a mentally weak walk-on

Look...Another CIS Name caller...Tell ya what tough guy....PM me...I'll give you my address...and come run your mouth like that to me in person....Bet you won't....Calling someone a Puzzy because they're spittin facts....
I’ve already addressed you once before. Stay in your corner, it’s funny how you respond to one poster saying “I wasn’t talking to you” see the irony. Go sit down, everyone already knows about your make a wish foundation situation.

I don't give af what you addressed....Make a Wish foundation??....Your stupid *** can only Wish you had my life....Now as I said....Talk your BS to my face...or STFU....Balls in your court....

I think the Dolphins should have taken Thomas in stead of Malcom Perry ran a 4.63 40 at the combine. We already have a short shifty player in Grant. We needed a guy to stretch the field. Oh well.

We’ve had a culture problem with our program...let’s hope that manny will change it this year. We still can’t get our guys developed and drafted!!

I know children like JT4 there like addicts , you can talk to them , you can bring in council, you can bring in passed players whom screwed up left early and even bring in Nostradamus showing it’s a mistake.

PRIDE this is the cause with these children warning signs galore DOESN’T MEAN ANYTHING only BOOOM CRASH only then you’ll hear OMG WHAT HAVE I DONE as they move back home to mommy’s house for her to RAISE AGAIN

He was a fool to come under this staff, im surprised this staff has hoodwinked alot of kids.

KJ Osborn was drafted in R5 of this year's draft after likely having been a UDFA the year before.

Our staff f'n stinks...but most of the time in situations like this, its the players.

Trevon Hill was a 9 TFL, 4-5 sack player at VT. He was a 9 TFL, 4-5 sack player at Miami. He was a backup. His athletic testing was in the 2nd percentile...thats basically a non-NFL athlete. I'm not sure anyone on planet earth thought that was a draftable player.

Jeff Thomas? You already know why.

Agree. And I've always thought there was something kind of dark and edgy about him. And angry. IDK. Just my impression from his social media posts and some of his interviews. I could see that being a concern , especially after his issues at Va Tech.

Seriously,

Hardly a shock that Hill didn't get drafted. Tons of kids out there with talent, all vying for a few slots to play at the sport's highest position. No one would say a lick about the guy if he stayed at Virginia Tech for one more season and didn't get drafted—but because he came to Miami and played on a garbage 6-7 team, their opinion of him is higher?

Fact is, there are character flaws (based on his exit from the Hokies) and you can bet any interested teams reached out to Fuente to ask what happened—just like others reached out to Diaz or Richt about Jeff Thomas.

News flash; this is a business and the same way teams wouldn't touch Kaepernick because they didn't want bad press—they're not going to bring in troubled guys, unless the risk is worth the reward.

Thomas is a talented kid that's been riding his talent since high school. His work ethic and attitude both suck—and he's a team cancer; called out by teammates mid-season for his entitled and lazy ways.

Kid blew his first and second shots at Miami and wound up losing reps to a 2-Star transfer from Buffalo, who was a fifth round pick—where he easily could've gone if he had half of Osborn's work ethic, driver or leadership qualities.

No offense, but I'm glad to see a kid like Thomas not get drafted—a team rewarding his God-given talent and not holding him accountable for ****ing away his college career.

Hopefully he'll learn some life lessons sooner than later, or it's going to be a sad ending for a kid like that.
