Jeff Thomas & Trevon Hill

Say that again!! It’s not the staff fault on this one. Thomas however... probably would have been in the league had he gone somewhere else.

Not if he was the same entitled, poor-work-ethic joker he was at Miami.

The truth always comes out.

Great, maybe he goes somewhere else and files under the radar—getting to start and play well against lesser competition—and gets drafted.

Still wouldn't have a shot in the NFL long-term if he didn't improve his work ethic—just relying on natural talent, instead of realizing how much work goes into being great at the game's highest level.

See if you cant spot the difference between these players:

Shaq, KJ Osborn, DJ Dallas-Drafted
JeffThomas, Trevon Hill-Undrafted

Rank them by talent level
Then rank them by who did the work 24/7/365
Then rank them by locker room leadership
Now rank them by headaches caused

Any questions left as to why things played out the way they did?
Some of these cats played themselves out of money and us out of wins. The "me" attitude in the locker room is what's the problem. Guys like Bolden seem like the exception but some others get here and drink the poison.

I think the Dolphins should have taken Thomas in stead of Malcom Perry ran a 4.63 40 at the combine. We already have a short shifty player in Grant. We needed a guy to stretch the field. Oh well.
Perry can also run and throw. He can be used in a variety of ways and he's from Navy so there are zero character concerns.

The team who had contacted Perry the most before the draft? The Patriots. I'm glad we took him in the 7th because I have no doubt the Pats were going to sign Perry as a UDFA if we didn't. No one is rushing to sign JT and he may have to swallow his pride and go the CFL route or something to kickstart his career.

KJ Osborn was drafted in R5 of this year's draft after likely having been a UDFA the year before.

Our staff f'n stinks...but most of the time in situations like this, its the players.

Trevon Hill was a 9 TFL, 4-5 sack player at VT. He was a 9 TFL, 4-5 sack player at Miami. He was a backup. His athletic testing was in the 2nd percentile...thats basically a non-NFL athlete. I'm not sure anyone on planet earth thought that was a draftable player.

Jeff Thomas? You already know why.
Jt's face when reality hits....

Yeah I guess the character issue was a problem. But if he gets signed I have no doubt he will have a bigger impact for his team than Perry. Perry is to slow IMO.

Tough year for me, have a blocking tight end from Colorado (auburn grad transfer), some teams want to work him out when things clear up but nothing immediate. Signed Rob Knowles but he's likely playing in Canada. Justin Vogel left his agent for me and we've been talking with a few teams.

Is the agent game more cutthroat than you thought?

I knew it was going to be brutal but yeah I'd say its even harder than I anticipated, and I'm someone that's coming into the industry with more contacts than probably 99% of other agents. I took a huge risk going solo, and I know I could've landed more guys with a larger agency but I like being my own boss and not having a cap at what I can earn long term, just have to weather the storm and get to that point. I've still put multiple guys onto rosters in my first full year so I'm ahead of the vast majority that enter the business but relatively speaking I still have a very long way to go.

Look...Another CIS Name caller...Tell ya what tough guy....PM me...I'll give you my address...and come run your mouth like that to me in person....Bet you won't....Calling someone a Puzzy because they're spittin facts....

We were a bad fit for JT4. Multiple staffs/coaches. Kid is already a mental mess. Should have gone to Bama or OU that had stability which I think would have helped him keep his head somewhat straighter. The fact that Richt couldn’t keep him grounded was a pretty big sign though that maybe it wouldn’t matter who he played for but I just think if he would have been at a school like those two he may not have been full egg head.

A Loser??...Lol....Everyone should be such a Loser....My Portfolio say I'm anything but...How bout you??
Oh yeah I forgot your portfolio of pictures of you standing next to players that never knew your name. Wow so impressive. I almost forgot you are some pathetic old white dude begging for attention on a message board.
