Tears Jayden Daniels sends Cease and Desist to LSU

I don’t know if his mom initiated this or not, and it really doesn’t matter with respect to what I’m about to say.

But I’ve watched some of that Netflix series “quarterback“ and she is way too involved in his life and business. I mean, I just feel like your mom is your mom, and when you’re a grown *** man, you don’t need mommy managing your business and personal affairs. You grow up and learn to manage and handle your business.

They should honor whatever they promised him. That said, I do see a difference because of the Natty. No natty then no difference. They hold no rings against QBs- look at Dan Marino.
 
So Kelly promised Pickett #5 as a pre-signing agreement, but didn't initially honor it?

Should we believe a single word that comes out of Lane's mouth?

I really don’t care enough about this to have any strong feelings about it one way or the other. But if this somehow makes LSU and Kitten look bad - I do like that. That’s what I’m hoping comes out of it.
 
Exactly why college football teams should never “retire” numbers. You got **** near 100 kids on a team annually. You’re going to make it so nobody ever wears one of those numbers ever again?

Pretty sure George Mira was the first number retired at Miami and Mensah is wearing it right now.
 
Something doesn’t make sense about this. I read that Daniels gave LSU permission (I’m sure he was compensated) to sue his NIL for 180 days after Daniels stopped playing at LSU. Well we are obviously well beyond 180 days. So what exactly does LSU have to cease and desist doing?

It really seems like Daniels and his attorney are just trying to make noise.
 
So if Pickett was promised the number 5 and didn’t get it then what’s the point of the promise.

Lane let him have it back I wonder if there was portal potential there
