2027 Jaxon Dollar 5* TE from Denver, NC (East Lincoln HS) Commits to UGA

@DMoney says he's one of the three highest priority flip targets in the 9/21 Bank

There is no secret that the staff still wants to make another big splash in 2027. Three names stand above the rest: OT Mark Matthews, DE David "DJ" Jacobs and TE Jaxon Dollar. Miami finished second for all three and will continue to push aggressively until the final whistle.​

Thread 'The Bank (9/21)'

Spoke to sources about everything around the team and recruiting. Some quick notes:

- The mood around the team is angry. No excuse-making or rationalization, even though they have a lot of respect for Wake Forest. Everybody knows the second half sucked and they need to get a lot better.

- The best way to describe the OL situation is "fluid." They need to find the best 5, and what we've seen so far isn't it. Based on what Mario said on WQAM, and what I've heard independently, the focus seems to be more on the guards than center or tackle. I would expect to see some different combinations...

30 receptions for 598 receiving yards & 7 TDs

6 sacks, 1 INT, 1 PD, 5 QB hurries, 9 TFL, and 23 total tackles (16 solo).
Thru 5 games

93rd in the country in receiving yards…. Considering his impact on both sides of the ball he probably should be ranked higher

Dmoney mentioned him as one of our 3 flip targets. I have a good feeling about this. Tight end is now maybe the last spot on the team without an elite kid on the roster or committed. I bet mario wants this kid very badly

I think he gets knocked for "positional value".. Most just have a hard time putting TE that high.. If he was primarily a DE he would be top ten for sure.. His athletic profile is ELITE.. His film and production is ELITE.. his talent shines in other sports and if you watch his basketball film, its ELITE.. and when he is at camps with other top talent he stands out as ELITE.

Just a special prospect.

Doesn’t help him that the only TE above him just so happens to be a better hooper than him too lol

Multiple reasons:

1. In the age of the portal, no recruitment is ever over (especially if you finished #2 in the recruitment)
2. Staff monitors recruits that are having great senior years very closely.
3. To directly answer you question, D$ says he's a priority flip target and Gaby today listed him as a major flip target

Actively recruiting and trying to flip

-Brennan Lacey at RB, also must fend off OM and MSU for Keys.
- Matthews at OL, which we knew.
- Dollar at TE, also keep eye on Carter Blackwell, Clemson commit.
- In strong position for Tonata and Canton for 2028 OL, but doesn’t think anything is imminent.
- Folorunsho, Kasi Currie, and Jamar Thompson are names to know on DL, but not sure if we are actively pushing there yet, too soon to know (makes no sense but cool lol). DJJ is still top priority.
- Whiteside situation could progress quickly if he ends up visiting. There could be more LB that we...
