Jarren Williams

So did Jacory Harris, how'd that work out?

Weiner from Plant ran His big, fat mouth and Marve sucked.

What the fūck are you even talking about?

I’m just stating facts. Whether they have any actual bearing on who becomes the starting quarterback at Miami remains to be seen.

You people are all caught up in your feelings about who you want to be the starting quarterback, whereas I don’t really give a shlt.

Not only that, college football history is replete with examples of second and even third string quarterback’s becoming the starters midway through the season and taking over the programs.

I wouldn’t even be so sure that the guy that’s named the starter for the first game is the starter at the end of the season. Things like bad performance, and even injuries, happen.

But all you clowns got to pick your favorite for whatever biased reasons you have, and you’re going to plant your flag in the ground and stick with that no matter what.

Instead of being focused on what’s best for the team.

Excellent article. Didnt like this line though...

"He took Coach Diaz for his word that he'd have a clean slate, a fair shot to win the job", Wofford (high school coach) said. "So, he wants to give it a shot through Spring".

Give it a shot "through Spring"?!? So he is already in the mindset that if he doesn't win the starting job he is out? I sure hope not as it takes one hit for a #2 to become the guy, and if Tate gets the nod, Id rather have Williams as 2 than any of the others. I dont know any other way to interpret that quote though. Then again, theres a strong chance a starter is not decided on by the end of Spring.

Two thoughts here:

1). Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Right? I'm sure the Richt's told Jarren that he'd be given a shot to compete last year. I can understand why he'd be hesitant when a guy from Richts staff tells him the same thing.

2). The way I read into that comment is not that he needs to be anointed by the end of April or he's going to transfer. I take it that he needs to think, feel and see that he is truly being given a shot to win the job. If that's truly the case then he'll stick around.

**** NO, its called managing your roster, cmr did what was best for jarren and the qb situation, jarren wasnt ready and he thinks he's ready now, time will tell. Alot of yall same people would've been saying out the other side of yalls mouth, why did cmr blow his redshirt for only 5 or 6 games. The True qb competition was always going to be this year is what coach richt envisioned. But once jarren started his pouting/crybaby antics, he had to be dealt with as well. If jarren doesn't win the job this year, he seems like a good candidate to be put in this category:

The revisionist memory around here at times is ridiculous lol. I’ would’ve been hesitant to play JWUB behind our oline last year, let alone start him. Let alone the fact that he didn’t squarely beat out rosier or perry or Weldon .Remember how loss kaaya looked behind a veteran oline his freshman year. Imagine Jarren behind last years smh. Jarren was not ready to be the guy. The fact that he indeed gained 20 plus pounds while sitting back in the background should tell u he wasn’t taking it seriously and was likely in his feelings. There’s a lot to blame CMR as far as the offense and how inept it was, but Jarren starting just to start is not one of them. Our QB situation played out the way we want. It would’ve been dumb to just burn his RS last year for 4 or 5 final games cause then eligibility wise heband perry would have the same number of seasons to play. Now we are in a good position.

Tate: RS soph 3 years left
Perry:RS soph 3 years
Jarren: RS Fresh 4 years
Peyton: TF who will RS

CIS needs a Godwin rule.

If a member discusses One Direction, the argument is over, the thread gets locked, and the member gets banned.

I agree with those points.

You suggested that Jarren's HS coach should be quiet because He's an unsuccessful HS coach, I'm saying that Weiner was a successful HS coach who ran His big, fat mouth and His former player sucked.

Don’t care. Neither’s opinions are of any consequence to me. And all they do is stir up shlt that doesn’t really help their former players anyway. What does either of them running their mouth do to help those players? Here’s the answer: absolutely nothing.

Jarren, Tate, Nkosi....none of them will do **** if we can't block. And that's the real ******* problem this spring. Kennedy's a ******* ragdoll. Might as well get a dummy out there. Bad, bad, bad transfer. We better have a horseshoe up ourselves if we're looking to compete with UF on the line.
Pretty sure the game plan will be NOT to go toe-to-toe in the trenches with the turds. Enos will look to use things that were foreign to CMR to help the o-line out.

LOL at our fans. This dude’s calling himself a Tate homer like a 12 year old girl yacking about Zayn being her favorite member of One Direction. How about being a UM homer and just wanting the best QB to play?

Who is your favorite member of BTS, Chise? I know Jungkook is the easy choice but I'm a Jin man myself.

Am I out of step because I really don’t know anything about One Direction or BTS?

I couldn’t tell you the first fūcking thing about any of those boy toy bands. Do I need to brush up on this shlt?

Definitely don't need to brush up on this garbage. Once you have kids, you'll know more about it than you'd wish you did. Or if you have kids already and don't, then god bless you! LOL

I’m pulling for Tate, but am no way shape or form a “sac rider” and telling me to proofread my
post when you have about 38 spelling errors in yours speaks for itself. Rosier beat FSU, so is he on a pedestal in your eyes as well? Listen man... I’m in the same boat as you, I’m desperate for a UM reinessance in which my outlook has a different blueprint than yours. The overall mission is the same and I’m not some idiot you claim me to be. Don’t look at my post number/ sign on date and assume I’m a moron.

Dont be a phaggot, you need to proof read yo **** for content, who gives ratz nickel about spelling on these touch screens, that's phaggotry, we not getting graded for that. As far as rosier, you got damyum right he will forever go down in Cane history for one, helping to end the streak, and throwing a money pass like kirby freeman did on the big stage in the clinch when we had to have, if you dont understand that, you dont understand UM football. And perry has already etched his name in their as well.

And trust me, whatever boat you in, im not in it. The difference is you desparate, so much so you sac riding guys that havent done almost jack schmitt at UM or in college yet, over a guy like perry who when it comes to transferring, the only times that come up is from people other than him saying he'll transfer if he's not the starter, you never heard or read any reports about perry going anywhere, he committed and has been battling it out since he got here. The only ones that have the real transfer label attached to them are cocade, gone, "1st loser" in tate, and not 1 time but 2 time trying to transfer outta here in jarren, so you damyum right perry can be trusted, he's been the only on True to his commitment and not waffling. You and your mindset wants to hand the qb reigns over to wafflers, that's desperation. One things for certain, perry has real good anticipation that needs to be groomed, he sets up and gets the ball out the quickest on the out routes. You celebrated when coach richt got the job and help to lead UM to its first bowl win in 10yrs, you celebrated the next year until the 3 game losing streak, and than you were happy and rooting for coach richt to be gone after this last season, that's desperation. So if you dont want to be viewed as a moron, dont moronic **** like you did acting as if tate was somehow better than jacory harris in highschool and definitely not college!

You heard it here first, folks. Jarren Williams may or may not be the #1 or #2 QB!

This an example of a real Cane post, facts and rationales spoken, no dumb ****!

Yeah. That HS Coach should quit being an obnoxious ****. Either you’re all in or you’re out. It’s hard to take a guy seriously who always seems to have one foot out the door.
Its important to remember though brother this is a high school coach trying to pretend hes relevant in this discussion. I gaurentee it's not jarren. Hes all in on winning this job and has no thought about anything other than that. Dont judge the kid over how he was treated previously or the comments of a high school coach. Hes a great kid brother. He deserves a real shot. Seriously doubt hed let us down if he got it.

I won’t continue this for the sake of the braincells the rest of the forum still has intact, so moving on....

How does Enos alter his scheme based off the difference of play between the 3 qbs? Obviously we won’t see as much RPO with Jarren at the helm, but what are some diferentiators that Enos can bring to the table in terms of being player specific? Not super familiar with his philosophy.
Not true. #1 y'all please spare us this squabble. Not that serious. #2 jarren ran **** near nothing but rpo in high school. Big difference between rpo & zone read. All 3 qb can run rpo. Tate obviously is exclusive in zone read or draws.

By any chance do you know the main differences asked of an interior lineman (center, gaurd) & a tackle?

Keeping with tradition of Mork's plan last season of having no plan at all. Can't reiterate this enough... Thank fvck he's gone.
I presume It went like this:

1) Start Jarren from Day 1 and you put a freshman up against the LSU defense. More conservative tact is to go with Rozier
2) Start Jarren from Day 1 and Perry realizes he has only a minimal chance of starting in the future. That means Perry is likely to transfer
3) Go with Rozier with the idea of easing Perry into the starting role as the season progressed
4) Move Jarren to the primary backup role by Game 11 and grant him extensively playing time in the final three games of the season of mopup duty allows. But don’t cost Jarren a year of eligibility.
5) Allow for a true competition between Perry and Jarren in the spring of 2019.

That’s my presumed assumptions of CMR entering the season.

Only problem is once Nkosi struggled and Rosier played like garbage he should have been given an opportunity.
