No offense to the kid but turning down a free trip to the Iron Bowl? That's a bucket list sporting event right there.

Maybe for a dentist looking to do a case study

Underrated post.

I am an Alabama resident Canes fan, but I love nothing more than these amazing bashes on Alabama. Keep them coming! (full disclosure, I have all my teeth)

I am as well. Proud resident of Daphne, AL. Die hard canes fan

home of Landry's and the throw'd rolls..lol

Really? B/c “been a cane” implies he’s been a cane for a long time now. And I hardly doubt that Williams has “been” a cane for a long time. He’s been a cane for about 2 weeks.
Been a cane connotates he’s been a cane for more than 2 weeks.

But I’ll let pete speak for himself.

So what is the exact measurement for the word "been"?

Going to be interesting Ohio St was on him before we were. Not going to Auburn after his visit there. Hopefully we pull this off

I thought he canceled his Auburn visit. It was supposed to be this weekend for the Iron Bowl

Said no one ever.

You underestimate the redneckishness of them bamer folk. Iron bowl is not only a bucket list sporting event, it makes their actual life bucket list.

That's all they have... well that and jesus.

Sorry if these stats have already been posted. Per max preps Jarren Williams 2017 stats:

Passing: 214/348 (61.5% completions) 3015 yards, 28 TDs, 4 int's, and a 111.5 QBR - Averaged more than 300 yards per game, improved in every statistical category from his junior season.

Rushing: 115 carries, 554 yards (4.8 average), 10 TDs - Once again improved in every statistical category from his junior season rushing.

Haven't seen us target many QBs with that type of production in many years until the last 2 with Nkosi and Williams. Honestly one of the most productive QBs in the country for this season and he has legit tools that will translate to college and continue to improve.

Crazy that we went from recruiting one of the least productive QBs in HS football that has legit D1 offers to one of the most productive in the flip of a switch. Might be the difference in the class being great and being absolutely elite is getting Williams instead of Sitkowski.

His feel for the game is unreal. When I watched his film yesterday I was very impressed. He can make throws all over the field and can run.

7A has some legit competition. The fact that a QB can have his production and win 5 games tells you the competition he played against. Most notably Brookwood, Parkview, Norcross, and Meadowcreek in his region.

I'm currently recruiting a few kids from there. They are a younger team right now but they didn't look very good playing Grayson a couple weeks ago when we did some evals. Traditionally they are very good. Had a very underwhelming season especially from the year they had last season

They had a really talented team when they had Myles autry, lorenzo carter, Alvin kamara, Chris Herndon, aj bush to name a few back in the day

Man has never had good shine to be speaking of it in such a negative way lol

I am not sure bucket list BUT would love to see and feel the atmosphere of any game with 2 top 10 teams.

That is what CFB is all about. Not close to an OB game but would definitely want to be there and feel it, as long as I could fly home that night
