1st Manny and Dan are racist.
2nd I am so disappointed they did not listen to the boosters
3rd They are on the hot seat
4th I can’t watch Miami football any longer because the guy I wanted on the team I love didn’t win.

Did I do it right?

Seems about right.

A lot of people talk about Tate’s confidence, swagger etc. but JW certainly doesn’t lack those either.

I’ve never rooted for anyone to win the battle but always thought if Williams was truly going to be the guy we saw in high school, realizing his potential, he was going to have to win this job.

I’m excited.

I think maybe 2nd string is a lock now also. If they are looking at packages for someone like Tate, what are they going to do, let Kosi run those same packages? Sounds like Kosi maybe going to the portal very soon.

Big respect to JW!

The kid could've hightailed it out of here due to the Richt disaster of last year, but he stayed & stuck it out.

There were times when it appeared he was the QB3, but he just kept working & kept grinding until he made himself undeniable. Even with all the flash of Tate's arrival & Perry's big arm, he continued to push forward & stayed steady, he wasn't rattled, he maintained discipline & put himself in position to be the guy.

This was a REAL QB comp, not that makeshift bullsh*t we saw last year & I think having persevered through what happened last year made Jarren stronger this go round. He could've easily checked out & started firing up the GTech transfer train, but instead just prepared himself to do battle & kept fighting.

He fits Enos's offense the best due to his arm talent, accuracy, footwork & poise. Enos's offense has to have a QB that can make all throws, it can't be limited to only one side of the field & throwing the ball on the outside to the hashmarks is really really important. Tate's mechanical issues & lack of raw arm talent would've prevented the offense from being able to consistently move the ball due to not being able to use the entire field & Perry is just too careless with the football.

Props to Enos & Diaz for going with who they felt was best, it's a big deal for the rest of the team to see that the coaches really value competition as the determing factor for who gets playing time.

Now that we know who the QB is, it's time to focus on those fck heads up in Gaynesville, let's ride out to Orlando on 8/24 & go Gaytor hunting!

This signals to me that Enos/Manny are going all-in to be dominating on offense. Perry/Tate would have required this offense to be more conservative than I feel Enos/Manny wanted (due to their limitations) - the safe options, so to speak. I think this is a great sign. Now, they might simplify early on but with Williams, they can run the entire playbook.
