I like that he tried to get the DTs to come back. I’m still ****ed they didn’t for selfish reasons because this defense would be loaded and experienced at every position if they did.
 
Lets keep this thread about JJ. He is a true cane that came back to better himself and this program. JJ is the type of player mentally that we have been begging for, for years.

He is the type of player that ingrains all the right things in the players around him.
 
Exactly. We know he isn't Ed Reed. But that was ESPN that made the comparison. The young man has earned the right to get any national pub that comes his way. Looking forward to seeing him ball out along with MJ this season in that secondary.

I mean who knows. Time has a way of changing things. I'm sure there where people who said back in 2001 "Ed Reed is good but he'll never be as good as Bennie Blades".
