Glad the nfl made him realize his mistakesHe was hellbent on playing safety when it was obvious his natural position was linebacker. Glad he's figuring it out now before it is too late.

Because "his" path got him the seventh round???... I mean I'm glad he got drafted...He had some good moments for us at Safety when he was healthy. We only play two LB’s. He did what he needed to do for Miami and now he is in the league doing his thing. Not sure why everyone is questioning his path so far.
And there is nothing that says he gets drafted higher if he switched to LB.Because "his" path got him the seventh round???... I mean I'm glad he got drafted...
People have a hard time adjusting expectations after a player gets the hype of a 5star. Only way id see his path changing would be if he was an edge rusher from his senior year in highschool to nowAnd there is nothing that says he gets drafted higher if he switched to LB.
Some guys just adjust differently. Many a time I wanted to throw something at the TV watching this guy make bone headed plays. He has all of the physical ability to play either position. But he still made dumb plays that cost the team. I am not sure who to blame on that one. Our coaching staff made bone headed calls.
Not giving JW a pass here by any means. Point is, he would have made dumb plays at line backer. He didn't respect either staff enough to take the recommendation to move positions. If I am looking at a coaching staff and determining which one to give respect to, I am choosing the NFL guys. Not the one that can't take a knee or one that rides up on a yacht who promotes a gold chain when we recover a fumble.
Good for him. JW can hopefully put some cash in his pocket for a few years.

I've liked Williams as he hits like a Hurricane. I think teams might regret not getting him earlier in the draft. As a hardnosed football player, he can be an intimidator.

Once it was revealed he “played” through a torn labrum many chose to ignore that being the main reason his tackling was suspectI don’t wanna hear dat ****! Y’all ****ted on James just like y’all did LT56! Don’t try to praise him now
Realest of real talk. That’s what I saw & what I remember. Ball out? Nah. Solid moments? Yes
