This could be exactly why Johnson may find a tge college town atmosphere of Athens hellah appealing. In Miami & NJ as a big boy you have to hunt and fight to get females, whereas in the south especially in Georgia the lady love some big ole boys. Then throw in NIL and those Georgia peaches will brIng along their friend, lol. Not to mention the UGA ball player groupies are necr level, he'll they even have female on staff specifically for player stress relief. Also the UGA coed snowbunnies just hit differently.

These young ladies killed it at UGA's stroll like an Alpha, notice they are all biscuits n gravy (2% milk) slim thiccc.

Go Canes

If this kid is actually from Newark, i’d expect him to go to whoever can show him the best proven track record of getting him drafted highly. Newark kids tend to not be big believers in change stories or unproven potential.

it’s why Rutgers always struggled to recruit Newark and the north jersey football powers (St. Peters, Bergen Catholic, Paramus Catholic, Delbarton). When coach hanson was at St. Peter’s, he’d rather send a kid to UVA or BC before Rutgers, because North Jersey isn’t big on “things are on the way up” stories

we have all shapes and sizes here too fam.
Some people keep acting like Miami only exists across the causeways and below 20th street. Or that the only women that exist down here are fitness models

I guarantee you that none of the football players from the 160’s to the 300+ dudes do not have any problem finding a place where they can put it.

It doesn’t matter where you go to college anymore. If you’re under 30 with money, an apartment, and a car that costs 100k…… you should have no problem.
Now you have to take into account population. Athens has less than 150k.
Dade county alone has 2.7 million.
I’ll take my chances in sofla.

The average household income in sofla is 68k. But since they only show sobe and mansions on the water in all the videos people think it’s like that all over dade county.

These young men are making way more money than the average sofla resident. And when you break it down by age….. they are at the top of the food chain with exception of the pro athletes, wealthy tourists, influencers, or the kids of some rich family.

Believe me I understand family, look at big Vince Wilfork who found his ex wife on Black planet when she working at some chicken fast food spot. There's a big difference between a college co-ed groupie and a local sofla chica trying to catch the come up, by getting nutted up in by a baller. 1st point the groupie is going to not only give up the draws but she will also spend her own money (buying him small thoughtful gifts, his favorite food, etc.) as an investment into her future with player. These Sofla ladies have their legs open and hands out, which is a different experience. But hey both lifestyles have there pros & cons.

At the end of the day hopefully JJ stays in Miami.

How did everyone that called this to UM weeks ago get this wrong and misread this one so badly?
It’s recruiting. I’ve learned to treat it like a game. We came back to beat Cal and blew a lead against Syracuse. We had momentum with JJ and then Georgia made a strong push.

I haven’t talked to anybody on this since yesterday but I’m sure we are pushing back and fighting. Probably will be like that until NSD.

It seems there are more late "last couple days" surprises then ever before, regardless of the direction.

Finally, someone says something logical that supports rational analysis, unlike some of these hysterical feminine posters who are crying over things like “but I was told something different weeks ago and now I’m sad that an 18 year old changed his mind”.

We’ve done a solid job recruiting head-to-head with Georgia this cycle. We weren’t going to win them all.

But we do need an elite, blue-chip caliber DT. I hope we hit on someone else.
