Dexter Williams wasn't even rated at ALL until the spring/summer after he went to a Nike camp and his film started circulating. ... McDoom will get his shine when the time comes... chill out lil buddy

That was also his first year ever playing QB. His team wasn't very good.

Nor should they force it upon him but if he sees that his best option is special teams and defense once hes here i dont think its a problem. The kid should be given a shot at which ever position and then tried out all over the field, im sure this is common practice.

Who cares where they want to play.. you think Jimbo doesn't tell every player exactly what they want to hear just to get him there? We should have done it to Cronkrite, tell him he's gonna play offense and then when he sees he is behind too many people on offense you move him to defense. Get them on campus and let them do what they want to make them happy then when the time is right move them to where you want them. Its called playing the game and that's something Golden has no idea about.

They might be upset at first but to win you have to get talent into the program, and when you start winning they wont care what position they play if it is getting them on the field for these wins and then they realize it is best for their careers.
