Coaching Jahmile Addae gone

CIS says he sucks

Bills say we'll take him
I don't think that's an accurate consensus on the concerns people have with Addae. The two consistent issues we've seen reported are:

  1. Whiffing on some key secondary targets in recruiting
  2. Some players in the secondary not getting along with him (reportedly he's very tough, no non-sense type of coach, IDK how accurate that was/is).

By all accounts, he's putting players in the NFL and developing them. So given that the two issues above aren't relevant in the NFL, this may be a great move for both parties.

Everything is black and white with this fanbase lmao. It’s either Addae completely sucked and it’s not a loss or it’s a massive loss and we won’t recover. When in reality it can be both. Addae is a loss but not a massive/catastrophic loss. Decent recruiter, a very good coach. Mario will be able to find a good replacement

As has been noted on this board multiple times by people that have a clue, moves were going to start to happen after regular NSD, and guess what's happening? Now we wait to analyze the hire Mario makes. Judging from some earlier hires, Mario is starting to look towards young, hungry assistants instead of big name guys. It makes a ton of sense, because for some of these positions, you need those tireless recruiters, guys that can fit within the team concept, instead of a group of all-stars, guys that all think they should be the unquestioned leader.

If players are that soft and that’s the reasons they didn’t like Addae then respectfully they don’t need to be on the football team. But it’s a new generation so

Addae had an interesting tenure here to say the least. He was billed as this young, black, recruiting ace, and up and coming DC/future HC but didn't really live up to any of those expectations. He seemed like a decent coach but results were a mixed bag. This is a massive opportunity for Mario to upgrade and hit a much needed home run.

Maybe one of the reasons Saban decided to step. Game is radically different in the age of NIL.

Lol people thought he just wouldn’t be retained, not get an NFL job. That was never mentioned

Look, ive been a big, but fair, critic of Mario. Yall killin me posting some shade in EVERY UPDATE thread. Once the first 2 or 3 cats post some lame joke, its no longer funny or original.

Please, for the love of BOB, stop doing that ****.
This board has been regurgitating the same "Pause" joke for nearly two years now. You think they won't repeat a joke because 2-3 ppl already said it for fear of not being funny or original?

Boyyyyy you're in for a treat.

IIRC there were some rumors about him being difficult at UGA too.

Young black recruiting ace arrived from UGA. Place recruits itself and Kirby, much like Saban, is a DB guru.
