Jacoby Briscoe will transfer

Kid had some decent offers. He is probably a better fit at Memphis or South Alabama.

Transfers rarely work out but best of luck to him anyway.

I had big hopes for Briscoe, thought we might have gotten a kid that the other schools (SEC) missed on. Some times you roll the dice hoping you can coach a kid up and inspire them; some times it works, in this case it didn't.
 
If U can't make it on this team at DT, knowing how weak we are at this position U have to be lazy.

I think an argument can be made that Lockhart is an exception..we have good depth at WR so its an acceptable loss but if he was a bum that wouldn't have burned his RS last year or throw to him in the FSU game at the goal line that late in a close game

I trust Al like I trusted Butch when it came to taking reaches. But when u play that high stakes poker game ur gonna lose sometimes. This is a miss for Golden. Golden thought he could beat the "it" factor into him. His HS coach prob told Al that if he could keep him focused ur gonna have urself a player.

Now we see why even with his HS playoff film where he totally beasted it, that LSU didn't even sniff him.

Some other "reaches" that could affect Als batting average are armbrister, Corey king, Danny Dillard, gabe terry, and this new kid courtel Jenkins and Walter tucker.
 
Never liked this signing from the beginning for one simple reason--Briscoe's motor. He was a giant kid in HS, who did nothing until the playoffs. Then, he flipped the switch and killed people. That showed me he had no pride or motor during the season. As I said when we signed him, you can't sign DTs with no motor no matter how big or quick they might be because those are the guys who kill corches. This is the same reason why I really like the Courtel Jenkins commitment while other whine about him having no big offers or stars from the dopey recruiting websites.

Dont be so hard on Al, IlikeDade!. Al has hit WAY WAY more then he has struck out. People were jumping for joy when we signed Briscoe especially after his playoff highlight tape surfaced. Buddy looked like an animal. We all missed on this one. (**** some people were hoping buddy could come in right away and get PT. LMAO. Smh.)

And BTW, the chick in ur avatar is bad as *****. Lol.

Good luck to him, and to the schmucks on this site who seem to love to take a shot at Golden anytime an opportunity arrives, what fricking coach hits on every **** recruit?! You miss just as much as you hit in recruiting, for God's sake if in the NFL, which has way more resources, much less of a talent pool to choose from, much much more invasive evaluating from medical to investigative to film, if they miss more than they hit in the draft, HOW THE FRICK!! DO YOU CRITIQUE OR JUMP ON A COACH BECAUSE ONE OF THEIR RECRUITS DIDN'T CUT IT?!! Mind blowing how some of these guys who have an agenda against Golden are clueless

Here is the thing:

1. Many are not able to see this or understand this

2. Some people hate AG and have agendas to attack every opportunity they get, no matter how stupid or irrelevant

3. It is the off-season so people are over analyzing everything

I understand people don't like Golden and that is fine, they don't have to support him but some things are really stupid.
