It's not so much about Eason - I remember Smart wanting to block all transfers to Miami because he wanted to set a prescedence to not let Georgia players follow Richt. 1 player opens a floodgate if he doesn't want to play them.

He stopped all the players from transfering BEFORE last season because he didn't want to open the floodgates. Eason tried to transfer to us AFTER the season. Different scenarios yet same result. For him it's not a matter of floodgates. It's a matter of living in richts shadow & feeling inferior. He takes alot of petty stuff personally.

FVCK YOU MEAN? I think we win every week! Lol besides the blind homer ****,just being real Blackmon doesn't impress me at all. Their running game doesn't impress me at all cause their line is pvssy. All that being said they do got a serious defense and Malik better keep his moments of shock & paranoia to a minimum. Lean on the running game & a possession offense & we good. We don't need to make a splash. We simply need to swim.
 
I’m pretty sure Richt is happy with Perry over the next couple years. And Perry is going to be a better fit for what Richt wants to run on offense
 
I always thought that if Richt really wanted him that he would have had him follow him here. Personally, I'd rather have Sitkowski then him for many reasons. Also, I don't think he is anywhere near Perry and would never play here. Last comment........Jeff George 2.

You offer him the opportunity to compete for the starting job. If he makes it clear that he's only coming if he's handed the starting job then you don't offer him a scholarship.

It's all about depth and competition.

That facquit was closer to flipping to UF than coming here after Rick left UGA. And LOL at offering him a chance to compete. Faqs like him don't want a chance to compete. He wants the job promised to him.

I don't understand this. If you sign to a school and quit, follow the rules by sitting out at a new school, how can that be stopped? I know players can ask for a release and be allowed to play immediately but otherwise?

It's got nothing to do with logic and fairness. They can refuse to give a release because the rules currently allow them to do that. If Eason really wanted to come here (I seriously doubt he does), then all he'd have to do is go the media and let them destroy Kirby Dumb and UGA.

Dumb used the media to his benefit in the same scenario with that CB Smith who Sabag originally blocked from following Dumb to UGA. The media would destroy him for now trying to stop the exact situation that he benefited from last year.

Interesting. I believe Miami lost the battle of time of possession in all of our games. It's mostly due to the Defense not getting off the field. In theory, that shouldn't be the case against Blackman. I just fear Richt gets too conservative and doesn't pull some tricks out of his bag. I remember last year you stated we couldn't work on new plays due to the weather. Hopefully we open it up on Saturday. FSU's D is good but with mobile QBs or misdirection plays they can get caught with their pants down.

You’re delusional. Eason was his top QB recruit (and arguably the #1 QB recruit in the country). Of course Richt wanted him to follow him to UM.
 
At Georgia Eason's priorities have been chicks, beer, parties, kush, relaxing, and den football.
