There have been blogs, articles, and whispers that I de-committed from UM. Those rumors are false. I am committed to the University of Mia

Maybe he realized what he did and how fast the news spread about his decommitment and he got shook. Im sure his phone was blowing up BIG TIME. From coaches to family members to teammates. I think it probably caught him off guard and he decided to re-tract the statement. And from what ive heard his family really wants him to stay local so maybe his peoples got in his a$$ too. Lol. At the end of the day, these are just kids. They dont know that there are people out there who hang on there every word.

Blah Blah Blah go get your attention team guy that could not get a D1 baskrtball look now the U offers in football and u become typical Diva SF recruit

Really? What if the kid isn't used to recruiting and now is confused? it kinda does happen with many recruits especially the ones who are going through it for the first time

Maybe, just MAYBE..... the kid spun a story and now he's realized he f*cked up. Maybe he made all that bullsh*t up to CS, claimed he had decommitted, to build up hype and drama for a big annoucement, and then the story blew up from CS, and now he's getting calls from all over. Maybe even from the staff themselves, and he realized he f*cked up and is now trying to back track.

I SUSPECT, that he did NOT decommit to the staff as he claimed. Maybe he told them he was taking some visiits, but told CS he decommitted to stir up some hype, and it blew up and maybe got back to the staff, now he's in a panic trying to backtrack.

Thsi is why the internet has been a disaster for recruiting. And Twitter has made it 50 times worse. These kids are young and immature, and play games, and every little thing blows up and can become a circus if they arent careful.

IMO Jackson is playing a VERY dangerous game. AG and the staff are already leery of BTW after getting burned last year. If Jackson is playing games now, he better be careful he doesnt find himself getting cut out preemptively if the staff feels like he is playing them for suckers.

Jackson would be well served to shut the fck up and quit talking to websites. He's making a fool of himself, and he's looking like a whack job in the process. Kid or not a kid he needs to step away from the phone and quit with the tweeting and interviews. He's a religious kid. Go to church or bible study or something. Cut the nonsense.

Exactly, and that is why these kids deserpately need some guidance and mentors. Even a supposedly "humble" and "religious" kid has now gone crazy with the attention and drama of recruiting season, and is turning his recruitment into a circus. Its like they get of taste of the attention and go nuts.

Chise, that sounds easy but you know that "fame" is a VERY dangerous game. These kids get caught up in that stuff and it goes to there heads. Buddy prob saw that CThomas was taking visits and he decided to take it one step further to "one up" him. Bad part is it seems like he wasnt ready for the avalanche that came along with it. If I were him I would just say that I plan to take all 5 visits but I am still committed to UM. And just leave it at that.

Plus it doesnt help when you got grown a$$ men hanging on your every word either. Smh.

maybe he wanted to take some visits, other coaches was like if he wasn't serious they wouldn't do it. so he de-comitted to show he was serious and maybe had 2nd thoughts or the other school didn't believe it???

/thats all I got

Perhaps he heard back from Barrow that he would no longer have an offer and decided it wasn't such a great idea.
