Winning cures all. Clemson overcame a **** of a lot more than us because of winning. Until we win at the highest stages, we will come second fiddle more often than not.

Two different things. Miami has / had the biggest offer on the table. Kid getting cash to go on those visits kind of moot point. That’s what five stars get. Fact is he turned down an enormous amount of money from Miami, far more than the over and under the table from UGA because he believes they can win a national championship and develop him into a top 10 pick. And no matter what propaganda gets pushed on this board, the kid ain’t wrong (based on recent history).

Anyways I respect you as a poster and grateful for the debate. Just want to give you what I know.

There is visit money with the promise of additional (non-NIL) money.

Miami is fighting back with more NIL cash right now.

Again, I realize that promises of future duffle bags are hardly enforceable. But there's more money being offered than some people know and/or have confirmed. I don't know any other way to say this, but Drew Rosenhaus is not giving up his commission on a higher "official" NIL offer so that the family can collect a couple of visit fees. There is a larger promise being dangled.

UGA board members know it too

I’m not trying to derail this, but he’s got Mauigoa next year. He has been here four years. I’m not saying he deserves more time to fix on field issues, but for the sake of this argument, results take more time. This was the first draft of players he recruited that was draft eligible. What are they expecting from a position like OL? Him to walk in and become King Midas and every player be a T10 pick?

Mario has numerous faults and has made a penchant in self sabotage here. But anyone with half a brain realizes he’s raised the level of talent in that room tremendously. Could have as many as four guys drafted next year, depending how Bell and the transfer C play.

It’s time for Miami to go way over the top with a number where he can’t refuse and Georgia can’t keep up with

Anybody that thinks that Georgia and Oregon are not paying big money are blind. I guaranteed all 3 programs are paying big and in the same area.

Georgia is strict with how much they’re willing to go

Last year they got ****ed on Justus Terry

Texas offered a number that he couldn’t turn down and Georgia was unwilling to match

Georgia was recruiting him since 8th grade and visited 25 times. Only visited Texas 1 or 2 times

Facts all we do is reach that number. We're much more desperate with Cantwell since we lose our entire o-line next year and Pepe already off the board. So I say do it up the bag, especially since he loves Miami and should have been committed already

Hope I'm reading this correctly -

With the transfer portal, I couldn't imagine an athlete being ok with promised future under the table $. I would want that all in writing or else I'm out the door. Way to easy for boosters or whoever to back out once the NLI is signed and the athlete is on campus.
