If you look at the final team recruiting rankings for 2025, the only teams in the top 18 that are not members of the SEC or B1G were Notre Dame (12) and UM (13).
No sh*t the rankings are ran by subscriptions and fan base size.

For example Raja Bell son is a "5 star " qb from down her committed to Texas e that no one bats an eye at or is never mentioned much on this board because its known he isnt really a true must get 5 star qb...**** there is a 9th grade qb with more buzz than him locally currently.

The recruiting rankings are like pre szn rankings...sh*t is juiced up to give love to sec schools or certain big ten schools. I would think our fans would realize this when we were on top coker's sh*t classes had high end of szn rankings.

If (and likely when) we don't land him, knowing Mario, he'll likely have someone go public to lighten the blow.....at least I hope

Cantwell is not only the #1 prospect, #1 OT but he’s got the mindset of a walk-on trying to make a team

Nakos makes up **** daily, that's why they have him. Whenever he writes something, I just keep scrolling, cause it's not worth my time.

Why?. The portal is always open and we currently have two tackles committed and the state has the best ol talent it has had maybe ever. lol.

If any year is the year i dont care about missing on the top ol targets its this year.
Florida Oline talent is always a flop I don’t care about the rankings cantwell and Pepe are day 1 ready guys. We said the same thing about the portal when it came to receiver and ended up with three warm bodies. Elite talent comes from high school.

Do you not believe that the conference in which a school plays is a major factor to most blue chip recruits who aspire to play in the NFL?
Laying my cards down, I'm concerned that a lot of these kids view teams in the ACC or Big 12 as second class or somehow less attractive because of the conference. Am I off base?

Naw, not even close to the same

A 5 star is 9 times more likely to go first round over a 4 star and 85 times more likely to go first round over a 3 star

Also the hit rate on #1 OT is not by accident since 2011 class

7- 1st rounders
3- 2nd rounders
1- 3rd rounder
1- UDFA

9:40- Tom Loy explains how biggest domino to come from QB Curtis’ commitment would likely be Cantwell, mentions hearing rumblings of Cantwell recruiting Curtis to UGA instead of the other way around & they’ll be together in Athens this weekend.

And then Derek Cooper.

The fact that Mirabal cross trains all the OLinemen across all OLine positions should speak to him then. Maybe Searles and UGA do that too but hopefully the attention we put on OLine and the development aspect will be enough.

Yet UGA payed through the ***(pause) all those other years. So don’t give me that OLD SCHOOL💩. Doesnt get more old Scholl than paying under the table. For an SEC school.
Under the previous setup, those schools were likely the top spenders and furthermore shielded in their spending; numerous other schools were forbidden to spend at all, thus perpetuating the dynasty.

UGA develops at a high level too.

Last time Cantwell interacted with anything strictly Miami related was April 2nd when he interacted with Coleman. Everything else had been pro Oregon and UGA

Trumlycane thinks a bit fishy
I said that RIGHT after he said he was ready to commit without visiting anywhere else. Next thing you know, he's visiting Oregon
