It’s a little different don’t you think? I mean UGA has Kirby and has won multiple SEC Championships and National Championships recently. Not to mention they produce the most, at least top 3, NFL talent in CFB. Tennessee can’t sell any of those things.Curtis is visiting with Cantwell?? Oh no! I hope it doesn’t turn out the way it did with Francis Maugoia when he visited with Nico!!
Oh wait…

Being in the sec isnt helping Arkansas and Vandy one bit in recruiting.Cristobal is supposed to be able to sell his 2 Pac12 championships and OL development. The $8 million dollar question is why that and the big $$$ NIL offer isn’t selling, especially to an offensive lineman.
It’s possible the answer is we aren’t going to get any of these top level recruits as long as we remain in the ACC. If that’s the case, then Rad needs to shoulder most of the blame.
Bryce Underwood and Michigan happened. Also, Nico with UT. This is the #1 player in the country, he generates clicks. Add NIL and wala, you have a viral post. Also, why don’t we embrace that we pay the highest?
Ehh that may be how we feel but they do it every year with top rated recruits. It gets clicks however true or untrue it may be. And also, On3s big gimmick is NIL and NIL valuation so they have to push that. It’s just the nature of the beast. If you’re going after big fish they come with a big price tag these days.True on Underwood, that was well publicized. As for your last question, I fully embrace it. As I stated in my next post, it’s just funny that the media is doing this to try to paint a narrative, that’s all.
We’re gonna find out soonLast time Cantwell interacted with anything strictly Miami related was April 2nd when he interacted with Coleman. Everything else had been pro Oregon and UGA
Trumlycane thinks a bit fishy
No doubt they do. They seem to be allergic to facts.
Regarding Cantwell, we ABSOLUTELY need him. Missing on Pepe already was a big loss. With all the resources we sunk into both Cantwell and Pepe, it would be a massive failure missing on both.
With that being said, the apologists will be out in full force if we do. I can already picture it.
"Man, how the **** did anyone expect us to land the #1 OL in the country from bum **** Mizzou. Ya'll were just unrealistic with that one. I mean, at least we were a finalist. Under Manny, he wouldn't even have considered us."
"Did you really expect to land a 5 star Samoan OL from Cali? Of course dude was going back home. You guys need to temper your expectations."
Those same people will also say.
"How did you expect us to land a 5 star WR from our backyard if Ohio State wanted him? Hartline owns SFL WRs. No way we are landing anyone he wants, even if they are from down here."
I mean, according to these apologists who can we expect this staff, who has top 7 NIL money, and a staff with more resources than anybody in the ACC and the most ever in program history, to land? We all know the answer. It's only those that actually choose to come to Miami, since we won those battles. But if we lose a battle, the excuses run rampant.
Mirabal did an in-home visit with Cantwell a few days ago.Last time Cantwell interacted with anything strictly Miami related was April 2nd when he interacted with Coleman. Everything else had been pro Oregon and UGA

If you look at the final team recruiting rankings for 2025, the only teams in the top 18 that are not members of the SEC or B1G were Notre Dame (12) and UM (13).Being in the sec isnt helping Arkansas and Vandy one bit in recruiting.
Most of our recruiting targets couldnt name a big 10 team outside of osu and michigan.
The Acc is down cause we are down...Clemson continues to recruit at a high level...we have to get our sh*t str8 along with fsu.
Tradition? Their tradition is about 4 years old. Now they’ve been much more relevant lately than we have been. Tradition though. There’s doesn’t compare. We’re not paying him anything cause he’s not coming.
By the time he commits to UGA it’ll be “he chose the tradition of UGA over $10 million from Miami. He just loves UGA”
