I find it funny people don’t think UGA/Oregon don’t have highest offer on table.

If it wasn’t for Mario and Mirabal Miami wouldn’t be in this discussion. Hit piece. The spins already in so if he signs with Miami it looks like it was only because of money. Meanwhile Rio and Mirabal bout to have a OT drafted top 10 next April.

Literally have never seen a headline by one of the major recruiting networks stating any school has the highest offer since NIL has been a thing. I’m not the one to shout “oh woe is me and everyone is out to get UM” but that’s hilarious. They are really hammering this narrative and it’s a lose lose either way.

Imo kid just WANTS to be at UGA...
Is what it is...but no Pepe and no Cantwell is a pretty big fail.
Why do you think that? He was ready to commit without seeing UGA again. To me this article actually makes me think he wants to be at Miami.

UGA already trying to spin the narrative that if he doesn’t pick them it’s only because of money, yet the kid has said multiple times “Miami crooting me the hardest, they have the best OL coaches in America”

They getting the spins off.

Laughable how they always push this NIL narrative
We have broad shoulders, nothing has changed in decades, we are hated, embrace it. The Miami is just blowing money left and right narrative is just the latest. We can’t win…if he get this kid, “well Miami bought him” If we loose out on him “Miami couldn’t buy him”

Because I don't think it's UGA spinning a narrative...I think it's other sources with other agendas.

Also, I never understand why it's presented or perceived as a negative. I'd rather be the fan of the team that signs Juan Soto than the team that signs Ahmed Rosario.....

Call me crazy but I don't mind it. Let UM be the boogeyman for these other schools. Put the message out we're paying the highest. Will increase interest in us from recruits if nothing else lol. I am sure we will get used a bit more to drive up bags a fair bit as well but hey any pub is good pub lol.

Oh I personally don’t really care either, but they are def doing it because they think it’s going to hurt us and they believe it sets up a lose/lose for us.

I lost interest with this kid with the announcement delay and $2mil price tag..... I like @gogeta4 OLine class list to go along with who's committed.... save the money, and after the season use it on the 1-2 portal OL we might need.

I feel like I’ve made this exact post a few times when the elite status of our evals gets questioned

Obviously only a true miserable piece of **** would knock Mario for OL play, but not sure where this narrative comes from that there’s no questions out there about it

Big year for several of those guys for sure. I also include the portal when we talk recruiting and evals though and they’ve done a solid job there filling needs
One of the best ways to succeed on the OL is to get old and stay old, which takes years of building. Fully developed and strong upperclassman really help. This is why you portal to get Lee and Cohen, then Carpenter and now Brockmeyer to be an "old" OL. Keeping some of the player s we kept. Kinsler, Samson, etd. allows Miami to stay old once some of the current starters leave. Now the caveat, that have to develop and perform when their number is called.
