If we do cross the finish line here, we really need to sit back and admire the effort it takes to get the number one player in the nation to say NO to the SEC and Big 10.

National media will likely NOT give us flowers for that, but this would be a WIN on so many levels.

Mizzou has something with their NIL program as well don’t they? I wanna say it’s tax related or something of the sort, but they had passed a law a few years ago it basically helps make sure these guys don’t leave

I didn’t really follow him at first because just figured he would end up there

I believe only Missouri universities are allowed to offer NIL to local high school kids. Out of state schools can’t offer payment until the student is enrolled
 
This staff gives us cause for concern in many areas. But OL talent acquisition (Evaluation, HS recruiting, Portal) is not one of them. As long as Mario and Mirabal are here our Oline is going to be above average to outstanding. If they don't get Cantwell, they'll get another solid option at probable a cheaper price. A lot of this is optics and prestige to sell the program as a big player and recruiting rankings. Regardless of what happens with Cantwell I'd like to see them get Pepe as well.

Missouri-resident high school athletes are allowed to receive NIL from Missouri based universities while they are still in high school.
