Jack Allisons commitment status.

The thing that really helps 2016 is the early commitment of QB Jack Allison. QB's usually stick and with him in the bag, the skill guys are gonna wanna play with him. Now if we can get Gibson somehow this year then this class might get decent. Irvin and Johnson I think are coming but ya never know.

Scarlett is coming. If Walton stays in the '16 class then I think we can keep Williams, Cronkite, and Scarlett with Williams being an athlete playing reciever and running back. Cronkite only wants two running backs in this class so it's important that Walton maybe stays in his class. Williams seems to be on board with the athlete role.

Recruiting.. . trending up

Now if this ************ would fix the god **** defense, we might be able to recruit DT's

Wtf?

You knew around here?

We'll see, heard it all before. Should we have another bad year, retain or fire Al, who knows.

I've never understood why a player doesn't take all his trips though. You never know what's out there if you don't see for yourself, no matter how much you think something may be just the right fit for you. It's kind of like dating for me, thought I knew what I wanted until something else came along I didn't even know I was looking for.

He's a commit though and if I gave my word to someone, that's what it'd be. The only exception were if what I was going into changed. Then all bets would be off.

It's a Cane thing, you wouldn't understand.

Excellent job on your use of that cliche.

Even if we were rocking and rolling at the top of the college football mountain, I'd still suggest the same. As we aren't, it makes even more sense right now. While a son of mine would have the ultimate decision, it'd be tough to allow your kid to come here right now and I know I'm not alone in that feeling.

Personally, I'm sick of the visits being sooooo glorified. They're fine if you truly want to go through the entire recruiting process but some kids either have been on a college campus before, don't require the ego stroking or don't need to use it as a vehicle to take vacations from their poverty stricken neighborhoods. Again, nothing against the kids that ride out the recruiting process for all it's worth but we shouldn't question the kids that don't need or want it either. I kinda even like the NFL guys that don't need to go to the Draft. That OL a few years ago that went fishing with his dad on Draft Day comes to mind.
