I hear you Tad. I'd just always make sure my son was upfront with whatever coach / team was recruiting them. If he was set on somewhere, tell the other coaches that, and if they still want to try and change his mind then so be it. This is easier said than done though as I'm as blunt and straightforward as can be at 40, but at 17/18 most everyone isn't at that point yet with persuasive coaches. Hope that makes sense.
