Personal attacks
Alonzo Highsmith was Blake James' job. I don't think it has ever been confirmed that Highsmith even had a modicum of interest. Nor do I believe for a single second that the Board would be willing to put out the money Highsmith would have wanted for the job. I personally thought it was a terrible idea across the board, and Reed was the much better solution.

So, your first statement is really easy to make, because we all know it's true. But implying it's the crux of an issue, short of sources, is speculation.
Hecht center mole alert everyone!!! Sound the alarms!!! Only an admitted Hecht center mole would think hiring Reed to puppet role who actually does nothing would be better then hiring a guy with actual executive football experience/knowledge to run athletics/the football program!!! Only a Hecht center incompetent employee would want to continue with Hot Garbage status quo to ensure there continued employment as they steal money from the university by achieving absolutely nothing. Again remember he has admitted IN this thread @CashMoneyCane or as I like to refer to him CashManureCane is a Hecht shill at work right now as we speak and is under orders to come on here and desperately try to change the narrative. Tar and feather him boys and lead him to the guillotine! 😂🤣

There's no bigger admission of defeat than when someone goes through all your comments and negs them because they have nothing else to say to defend themselves.

I see you, @NicKane. It's adorable how interested you are in me.

Every day.

Sorry if it has been posted, but Ferman said Rumph won’t be retained. But we all knew that.

he also has to think how does it look to fire your OC year 1 and DC year 2. Not a good look for a new leader and waisting the universities resources on failed hires
Not disagreeing but he can also be thinking if I keep Blake around and **** goes wrong next season, then I still have my “break in case of emergency” scapegoat to buy me more time

The coaches keep putting these non-performing older players out there. They should be playing the younger guys to get them experience and develop them faster.

I agree that it’s best for the school, once they chose him as HC, if Manny can succeed.

I agree with you to an extent that quick firings are a bad look but also doing nothing when the schemes and coaching aren’t working is going to get the HC fired. He made poor coordinator 1st choices on both sides of the ball. He remedied the offense. He needs to remedy the defensive side. I saw it last year and was not surprised at what I saw this year.

I get this narrative on the board, and watching the games every week only reinforces the narrative but like the coaches cannotttt be that blind can they? Having allegiance to an older player is simply a way to get fired quick. I remember the ND game during Bandy's pick 6, it was the end of the half, big drive for ND to try and get some momentum going into the locker room, Bandy (TF) intercepted it and was escorted into the endzone by Garvin (TF) and Carter (TF) so manny had 3 true frosh defenders in on a crucial drive against a top ten opponent on prime time tv. At what point did he decide ah ***** it roll with the older guys just because...

I don’t totally disagree with your point, but the issue with that is that Manny’s contract expires in 2022, I think, so any coach going into a final year without an extension is pretty much dead man walking. So he needs a good season this year if he wants that extension, which I know many here will just throw up at the thought of an extension.

Yeah my point is Caca 💩 especially if this guy fires Rumph and brings back Baker and Patke. There’s no saving him then with his contract expiring.

Not sure if Miami fires him if he wins 8 games next year and then makes a firing of Baker so you might be right

Shhhhhh don't try to make sense of sense, people who don't like sense will get offended... LOL
It’s not something I came up with out of thin air but yeah, I agree... people get on an agenda and get entrenched in ideas. Sometimes a little more open-mindedness and less reaction could benefit all, myself included.

I've heard various things about it and most come back to money.... One thing I hear is he wanted NFL type money and no way in **** the school was coming close to that... Again, that's just one thing, there's other stuff....
