Kicker. Kicker is our suspect position until proven otherwise. Add in other ST units except for punt team.
Kicker ain't even suspect, it's death row. They better have a helluva a 4th down playbook.

Johnson averaged 24.4 yards / KR last year... Marion has averaged 23.2 in 2y at BYU.I can’t wait for Marion on kickoff. Besides about half a season of Brashard Smith we haven’t had a game changer back there in over a decade
Long Snappers, kickers, holders... some Little Lebowski Urban Achiever in no35 on punt return who won't catch the ball and lets one roll back to the -1 only for Beck Purdy to be relied on to run wedge to escape danger. Our FG kicking game gives me a ton of concern. Kicking gets laughed at often and rightfully so. Kickers don't (usually) make tackles, open holes (pause) for RBs or WRs, set the tone of the game, let alone they simply aren't FyZiCaL. No one thinks about them...until they do. And that's my concern. Last thing I want to do is play ND or UiF tough as nails for 59.5 minutes, only to have the kicker come out for the game tying FG only to slip on the banana peel from 37 yards away.
@Cribby has been saying this before he was even hired.Mario will always have one unit that cost us a game or two.. That is his calling card.
I think you have to throw OLine's ability to pass protect into the mix, if not at the top of the list. Cam bailed us out a lot last year, Beck isn't going to be able to do that.I'd say biggest risks are:
- Beck Interception problem and playing poor under pressure doesn't improve from last season
- WRs are talented but inconsistent
- Mario reverts back to 22/23 form in his decision making regarding aggressiveness/decision making. I liked his decisions last season. He has to keep it up.
- Safety opposite Poyser doesn't perform well and the depth is too inexperienced/inconsistent.
- DT Depth
Overall I think we have a very good team this year. I absolutely could see us run the table. Getting turnovers and dumb penalties under control will be key.
Very much disagree.I think you have to throw OLine's ability to pass protect into the mix, if not at the top of the list. Cam bailed us out a lot last year, Beck isn't going to be able to do that.
You're supposed to wait about 45 minutes to see what the gummies do before you eat more. Slow down son.Long Snappers, kickers, holders... some Little Lebowski Urban Achiever in no35 on punt return who won't catch the ball and lets one roll back to the -1 only for Beck Purdy to be relied on to run wedge to escape danger.
Have you seen an optometrist recently? You need to.I think you have to throw OLine's ability to pass protect into the mix, if not at the top of the list. Cam bailed us out a lot last year, Beck isn't going to be able to do that.
We haven't heard much about Pruitt this camp but I've heard he will not be coming off the field much.Buddy of mine was invited to the scrimmage yesterday. Played for Mirabal at Columbus. Was astonished at how good they looked. Said Pruitt was/is an animal.
Mario better come out passing. We know both of these teams are stacking the box. If we come out running 1st, 2nd with inside zone( I will not tote the company line) and passing on 3rd with Carson Beck against a stacked box, I will be onimmediately. This isn't a big deal to him. Pass them out of the box and keep them honest. My whole focus right now is worrying about our rush D that I can't do anything about. I think Carson can have a good game, if these young players can stay calm and focused. I am still debating on drinking for tailgating and in the stadium. In the 17 game, one of the few, I didn't tailgate for and I had 3, maybe 4 stadium beers, so I was much more focused than 3 hrs of drinking before the game.
Elite after the catch. Almost RB-like setting up blockers and breaking arm tackles.
Think myself @menmon and others saw his film and really liked it in the recruiting threadThere's this kid, Upshaw. Freshman WR. Supposed Wunderkind. I keep hearing that the coaches are amazed at his talent and that he's broken out at Camp.
Do not be surprised if we've got a diamond WR that suddenly shines bright on Aug. 31.
Nobody is looking his way. BTW, Ny Carr hasn't been heard from in some time, either.
i'm not the biggest beck homer, however the perception doesn't reflect the reality ... 24-3 can't be denied ... you don't play poorly under pressure in the SEC and amass a 24-3 record ... he's had some adversity no doubt, but he got it done ...I'd say biggest risks are:
- Beck Interception problem and playing poor under pressure doesn't improve from last season
- WRs are talented but inconsistent
- Mario reverts back to 22/23 form in his decision making regarding aggressiveness/decision making. I liked his decisions last season. He has to keep it up.

I think it's just the nature of the beast nowadays. We only get what is leaked/given, same as ND. They're being super secretive....they didn't even want to say where the final scrimmage was out of fear they would fly drones above them and record everythingby now something would have come out about a suspect position or player ... yet it's been eerily quiet ... we've stayed relatively healthy ... i think we may really have something ... it's been a while sinse we've had this scenario
