Oh yes they did. They literally did it all the time. I remember specifically them wondering why our lbs were lined up 7 yards deep in the endzone vs GT at the half inch line

There are different ways to "retire." If the noise is bad enough and he can see that he's not going to be able to reverse this spiral, it's in his interest to make some kind of mutual deal with the U so that it can be called retirement. Essentially he'd get a big chunk of $$, but not all of it and everyone would say nice things about each other and the U would move on to the next hire.

No, they were apologists many times for Golden saying he needed more time. Richt is getting zero benefit of the doubt nor should he. He deserves to be savaged. I won't be shocked if resigns.

If Hecht thinks they aren't losing 10 to 15 thousand season ticket holders, then they are kidding themselves. I'm think about not renewing. Just fly down for a game or two. I'm not dropping another $6K another year watching a ****show.

Our school ONLY reacts years after a decision was necessary and obvious. I don’t expect them to do much even when revenues decrease (substantially).

thank you, problem lies at senior mgmt level. B.James could not make a HR hire if his life dependent on it!!!!
BOT talks a great game but have not made a HR hire since B.Davis & AD hires have been just as bad
we will lose out ..... and miss the 15 practices for a bowl game
CMR need to take a long mission trip with his family and son.
Good man but team looks awful period.......
 
Richt looks like he doesn't give a ****. I wish he would resign but with the contract he has he is going no where.

Yep. He has no idea what he is doing. He’ll consult former players who will convince him we need to hire a coach who runs a traditional “pro style” offense, because, we’re NFL U, bro. So he’ll just hire another lame coach who thinks we can just out talent every team we play and the the cycle is repeated.

Question is, will he continue to next year? UM might not be able to afford to fire him, but they can sure make him hire an OC. It would be cheaper for them to pay the most expensive OC they can find than to fire Richt. I believe they will do something close to that.
