It's time for Richt to retire

Yes, but this one has a much different feel. The collapse has happened quickly and there is absolutely no sign of change or optimism or chance.

There was none under Golden or Randy either. This time they just hired a failure (to begin with) so we can expedite the process (failing).

We deserve better.

And if he says no then you have to fire him. I don't care if it costs you his salary next year. You are guaranteed to lose 10K to 15K season ticket holders. That's around $7 to $10 million lost in revenues.
 
Think he would have to win 7 games or less in 2019 for him to retire/get fired. 8 wins and they give the man who donated 1m to our new ipf another year

Saying no might be reason to fire him, and not pay the buyout, no?

I'm no math magician, but the thing I keep coming back to is 3. We have 3 OCs. We need ONE OC. We need to strip Brown and Dugans of their OC titles and pay, and go out and hire ONE OC.

The things you should be coming back to are

1. Richt sucks and he needs to go,
2. Blake sucks and he needs to go,
3. Our decision makers need to bring in the right person to actually run the department.

Richt can have 1 OC or 100 OCs, he still sucks and needs to go.

An honest Christian which he claims to be should realize he is STEALING from the University and respectfully resign. His net worth after years of coaching has to be tens of millions. Plenty to retire on and go preach the gospel doing missionary work somewhere...

If his buyout number is too high for UM to absorb, their best bet is hiring an OC. A single OC, not 3 more.

Yeah, we want Richt gone. I just don't see us firing him, then not being able to afford Randy Shannon because we owe Richt so much.

Completely illogical but at UM we prefer the self-inflicted cancer approach so let’s allow him to make some changes.

What do you think happens when you have a chitty product that few people buy?
