It's been 60 days since Miami was embarrassed by Pitt...

Hmmm, probably nothing related but Tim Reynolds tweeted "yeah heard the same from his people ... can't imagine it will go over well ... but when he's ready to do it i'll be ther..." then deleted it and posted "oops"

Either way, I'll be praying it's a sign lol.

First time around, Butch was the only person who would take the job. This time he is the only person who can do the job. His return would get as much press as the playoffs.

23 days...still employed.

Disturbing lack of honor being shown by Gorlden.

Just man up and resign already.

He's gonna squeeze every penny he can out of the idiots running Miami.

They're paying him on top of losing revenue from donations, season tickets and merchandise sells.

It's financially irresponsible to not fire him at this point.

The fact that fat *** incompetent excuse for a head coach is still employed boggles the mind

Actually it doesn't when you factor in the notion that the administration doesn't care about the success of the program. At least, they don't care enough.
It's not that they don't care. They want the program to fail. They see the national perception is to view Miami as thugs. And they hate that so they've been undermining the program for decades, hoping it'll change the perception.

The worst part is that Golden's not even a good role model for these kids. He's teaching them: "results don't matter." "Always have an excuse ready. In fact, have multiple excuses ready." "Don't fire your friends even if they can't do their jobs and it hurts the company." "Mislead the consumer with numbers that don't matter to them." "Things happen to us, we don't actively do anything." If these kids try to use these lessons in the real world with real jobs, and assuming their bosses are competent unlike BOT or Blake James, then they will be fired within a month.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around "Deserve Victory". Why does anyone deserve anything if they don't go out and earn it? We don't deserve jack crap because we have a U on our helmets. Feeling you deserve something is no motivation. Feeling you have to earn it is.
