Not in that situation, in that weather, with that player. Ridiculous.

That play is up there with the Colts fake punt or the Seahawks pass on the goal line as the dumbest play in football history.

end of story. coley wide open for a 35 yard TD.

The playcall was great, the players cannot make the plays.

Just like Herb Waters making a stupid mistake the series before on Coleys go ahead TD, instead we get a fumble at the goal line.

These S.FL players are insanely overrated and were outplayed by 2* from Somoa today.

They're just not very smart and as such are quick to lose or can't obtain situational awareness.

Initially I also defended Coley, stating that Stacey Coley was open and it was the players error that caused that to fail, not the play call...then i thought about it and posted this on TOS:

If you're a play caller, you work on 2 basis.
First and foremost, your first expectation is to call the play that nobody expects. Second, you do consider risk vs reward with every play.
-The defense was caught off guard, therefore he called the play that their players did not expect.
-Risk: Your RB makes a bad throw and it goes over the receiver's head or out of bounds (it was ran towards the near sideline).
-Risk: Your WR isn't open and the RB has to make something happen or kill the play out of bounds.
-Risk: It's a fcking blizzard and maybe, just maybe, your RB ain't the QB for a reason and it slips out his hand and becomes a free lob.
-Reward: You score, and you're up by 1, leaving 3 minutes left to an offense that can score in 2 minutes.

I feel stupid about trying to defend him now, you all can resume bashing this ****** LOL fingergun

Ummm nooo. The fact we gotta use trick plays to execute vs the worst defense in CFB to win a game in the last seconds should be enough to paint the picture Corley sucks

YOu dont call that play in that weather when you need to drive down!!!

Kayaa had just gone 6/6 on the last drive before that fumble and had that TD if not for that stupid block in the back

Corley gon Corlery.... Ask madden dunce

I love when the idiots identify themselves.

There is no ******* way you do a rb throw again in that weather. None. I don't care if the entire defense had cardiac arrest.

You're right it was a great call... But why was yearby in? Is he LT and been throwing passes through out this year? Know your team, know the game situation.
Don't have a player that has never attempted a pass during bad weather condition.

**** the WSU qb was struggling what makes you think yearby wouldn't

No, it's a bad call because you're asking a RB to throw a bomb in bad weather conditions when you have a QB who has been balling and an offense doing whatever they want throwing the ball.

There was something like 5 things that had to happen for Miami to lose this game- aside from the terrible play calling, and they all happened.

Scott's drop, Scott's drop, Int drops, Waters block-in-the-back, Walton fumble, Yearby interception.

Washington State didn't win that game- they just waited long enough for us to ***** it up like we have done every year for the past decade or so.

As sad as this sounds, if you're going to run that, run it with Dallas Crawford. Someone who can actually throw lol
